The hotel is located is a very good location to walk and explore old Lyon. It is surrounded by many restaurants and the major shopping street is also nearby. What we enjoyed most about the hotel is it is located on a pedestrian only street. Although, it may be a problem for those with very large, heavy bags as there is no way to drive up to the entrance of the hotel. We also had a car, and there are two public parking structures about 300 meters from the hotel. It could become very pricy if parking a car for more than a day, around 38euros for 24 hours, but only 6euros overnight. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for 4 adults. This worked out beautifully. There are two doors between the bedroom and the living room, so it was silent for both couples. The only suggestion is to turn off the refrigerator if it is too noisy. The sofabed is very comfortable, and its design works as 2 single beds rather than a double bed. I found it actually much more comfortable than a double sofa bed. The included breakfast was above average, including a hard-boiled egg machine and a pancake-making machine. Also, juices, yogurts, cereals, and all the typical French items.
