My husband and I stayed here in September. What an absolute perfect location and stay. The room was enormous, the shower was strong and hot (I'm picky about that!). The people were friendly. The pool and pool area were clean and relaxing. It is in a quiet area perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery but also very easy to either walk or drive the few minutes into town. Also very convenient to neighboring Lagos or other Algarve locations. The morning breakfast buffet was well worth it. I had spent a lot of time looking at where to stay and I am thrilled with this choice.

Lovely hotel and staff were happy and nothing was too much trouble. The room we were in was huge, it was incredibly clean and comfortable. We had a shared pool but only my daughter and I used it. Breakfast was fantastic and fresh eggs and the best bacon we have had in Portugal.

Had a lovely stay at Vila Luz - room was clean and had everything we needed, good breakfast and service from the bar staff, and really good facilities. The pool was very refreshing! Great spot for discovering the Algarve as lovey beaches within walking or short driving distance

Fantastic hotel. Reception/bar staff are brilliant. very professional, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Very clean hotel, cleaning staff very friendly. Pool area is great. Breakfast is good. Sleep comfort and large rooms are very good. Location is good, only 5-10 minute walk into centre of Luz.

This place was pretty perfect for us! It had everything you need and plenty more too but without being unwelcoming or unfriendly. The staff were so lovely and seemed pleased to help whenever we asked anything of them. The room we stayed in was large, lovely, beautifully clean and provided all we could need as well as looking out over the ocean. We spent 5 nights without any issues at all and really loved our time there. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to as it was varied and great quality with variation each day and felt like a real treat. The decor is classy and understated in a way that makes you feel at home but also like you are getting a treat. Upon arrival we learned there was a sauna you could book and use which was small but perfect for us in an evening after good hikes during the day. The pool was cool but kept very well and, with everything, very relaxed and not loud or busy. The place was clearly pretty booked up but never felt busy or anything other than very relaxed and restful for us. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rest and enjoy in the area!

Fantastic hotel incredible value for money. Amazing views from the room and balcony over the beautiful palm tree lined pool and out to sea. Rooms were massive with every facility you might need; you could easily live in the room. Great location just a 10 minute walk along the seaside to town.

This hotel is lovely. The grounds are immaculate and the free buffet breakfast is fabulous and filling. There are two pools and many of the rooms offer sea views. You can walk to several good restaurants and to the beach. Note that the pool water is not particularly warm at all. The only reason i cannot give more stars is that the front desk help was poor. The people we encountered were a bit unfriendly. When I asked how to get to ponte piedade, a major tourist attraction in the area, the man’s response was that the road there is closed and he had no idea how to get there. Fortunately I asked an uber driver and he told me to simply drive to praia camilo, park there and take a beautiful stroll to my destination. I can’t believe the front desk at this place could not answer this basic tourist question. They had no information or map at the front desk either. If you know exactly what you are doing and how to get around this is a great option.

We stayed here for a week B/B. Lovely hotel & very relaxing ambience. Decent pool area. Very spacious apartments with balcony overseeing pool area. Cleaned every day. Also pet friendly, we took our furry Friend Bella (Chihuahua). They only do breakfast which catered for everything u need, & have a very decent & varied pool food & drinks menu. 15 minute walk to the Praia de Luz town/restaurants & beach area. 10 minute drive to Lagos or €8-10 by taxi/Uber. Friendly & effective customer service for everything. All in all would definitely stay again!!
