Oasis Beach Apartments

We booked a one week stay through Easyjet, flying from Southend. Whilst at the airport Easyjet contacted us to say that there would not be anyone on reception and they would email instructions, which they did. We arrived at 2am and there was someone there to meet us, find our key and show us to the room. A very pleasant surprise. The apartment was good, clean and functional. The lady on reception was lovely and couldn't do enough to help us. The pool area was clean and tidy. There as a bar area but that was never open during our stay. Positives Well equipped Clean Very well located Quiet Friendly Great resort A couple of niggles/negatives: No bedside table one side of the bed. An absolute must for us, but we made do with a chair. The head on the shower was split. The first shower we had, soaked the room and I mean soaked. The state of the bottom of the door we weren't the first to do this as the wood was splitting. We learnt to just not have the water turned on as much - the water pressure was fierce. Would we stay again - definitely.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we booked, but given our arrival time, 11.45 pm ,things went relatively smoothly. The room was surprisingly spacious, well equipped, and very clean. All requirements for a self catering vacation were catered for ,above and beyond. Down side, very thin adjoining walls. We had a couple 10 days out of 14 who basically had no consideration for anyone else's privacy. Noise from 6.00am and again until 2.00am in the morning. Apart from that, the area is great, pricier than I was expecting (being a portugal Newby). We opted for Chinese, Indian meals on a few occasions as we found spending circa £ 65 per night for mediocre food excessive. Saffron is brilliant. I totally recommend them if you're partial to a Ruby . Would I come again? Absolutely!.But I would try and find a room with no neighbours.
