The owners of this guesthouse are such wonderful hosts, they have the ability to make everyone most welcome, everything is immaculate, the unique art work is very special and the rooms are very well appointed, each one is decorated differently to a very high standard. The breakfast's are also very special.

Our 3-night stay at Palm View Guesthouse was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jonas and Thomas pour their hearts into this beautiful oasis they’ve created. The guesthouse is not only impeccably clean and stylish, but it also radiates warmth, care, and intention in every detail. The poolside 'honesty bar' made our afternoons and early evenings feel like a little slice of vacation heaven, and the breakfast—served on the patio by the pool—was the best we had on our vacation. Homemade marmalades and breads, eggs and bacon cooked to order, vibrant fruit and charcuterie platters—all prepared and presented with so much pride and care. Jonas even went out of his way to accommodate my food allergies with homemade gluten-free bread, biscuits, and treats—something I’ll never forget. What made our stay truly special, though, was how present and thoughtful Jonas and Thomas were. They checked in on us each day, always genuinely interested in our plans, and offered help without ever being intrusive. From arranging a boat tour before we even arrived to making dinner reservations and suggesting local experiences, they made us feel completely taken care of. They even went out of their way to do a small load of laundry for us as we were nearing the end of our trip and needed a small wash--truly above and beyond. Who does that? It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and personal, but Palm View Guesthouse is exactly that. We left feeling so grateful and already dreaming of coming back. Jonas and Thomas have created something truly special. Our family loved the vibe here and hope to go back for another stay. Obrigada, Jonas and Thomas!

Such an amazing place! A short walk to Praia de Luz and short drive to many other beautiful beaches and Lagos. There are so many beautiful space to sit, relax and enjoy views, nature or quiet at the guesthouse. Lovely and comfortable rooms. Amazing breakfasts and hosts! Will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palm View! The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, breakfast is epic and the hosts J&T are kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend Palm View as your base to explore this beautiful part of Portugal.

We loved our stay of 7 nights by Jonas and Thomas. They are the best and nicest hosts we ever had! Everything is well decorated, we liked that style. Wonderful swimmingpool with enough sunbeds. All was very proper and clean. The bar with good prices was absolute an extra plus. The breakfast was so good and fresh. A lot of self made things which were amazing. Especially the jam and don’t forget the sweets😋 The list of recommendations we got from them for restaurants were super handy. We didn’t have to search by ourselves and every day we choose another one and all were different, lovely and good. Jonas and Thomas thanks for the nice conversations and we would definitely stay with you if we choose again for Luz.

First class vacation! We spent 4 nights in the relaxing and fabulous Palm view guesthouse celebrating Anna’s 60th birthday! Some of us visiting for the first time and second time for some. We had a relaxing time at the amazing pool area and it’s hard to leave too see more of the beautiful beaches close by. Except the comfortable and unique designed rooms the breakfast is the best anyone has experienced anywhere else! We all agreed when leaving that this is not a goodbye it’s a see you next time, looking forward to be spoiled soon again!
