Luton Town Centre

Stayed in a standard room, Everything in the room was very clean, the bed was really comfy, good water pressure for the shower (stopped in hotels before where the shower was like standing under a dripping tap!) The food was ok, the chef (didn't catch his name) did a great job under pressure, also Afrina did a great job manning the front desk, working the bar, seating the guests and taking food orders. Another member of staff came to help out around 30mins later, but at that point the work was done. If time management was better then maybe the staff issue would have slipped under the radar. Overall happy with the evening.

Lovely gentleman on the front desk, he was friendly and compassionate when I realised there was a mistake in my booking (my own error). Also another staff member really made me smile with a lovely comment about my trainers. Having such personable staff makes a massive difference to the experience. A big thank you to both of those people, never under estimate the impact of your kindness. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet.

Firstly the good points 1. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quite clean. 2. The breakfast the morning after we arrived was actually quite good and enjoyable, the chef seemed quite good and the restaurant staff ( 1 lady) ,was quite pleasant. 3 The Sticky Toffee pudding and custard was quite nice. Now the bad points. 1. The staff did not seem particularly interested whether you were there or not 2. The restaurant staff did NOT appear to know how to run a restaurant, the chef appeared disinterested and the staff followed suit 3, The food at best was mediocre 4. We waited 35 mins for our order to be taken and a further 40 mins for it to be delivered, even then a portion of Onion Rings which we ordered as a side dish only appeared 5 mins after we had finished our meal 5. The next evening ( we needed to stay 2 nights due to circumstances beyond our control ) the food was just as average as the night before and the wait times, if anything, were even longer than the night before. 6. On both evenings there were many tables that had not been cleared of used crockery and leftover food 7. Our second breakfast was a complete contrast to the first. Again the chef (different to the previous morning) was very laid back and seemed disinterested, The fried eggs were like rubber and when we requested a freshly fried egg, when it eventually appeared it was only half cooked. It always seemed that there were not enough staff. In the evenings when we were there 3 staff appeared to be required to staff the check-in, the bar and the restaurant and there were several people at each point ie check-in, bar and restaurant. If I never stay here again (and I wont) it will be too soon Also while we were having our breakfast on the second day a gentleman was complaining that he had enquired before leaving home if a room was available for him and his family and was told that there was. He told me that he duly travelled to this hotel only to be told on arrival that they DID NOT have a room for him and would just refund him. He had travelled from Newcastle

Great service with friendly staff. I Have stayed here many a time over the last few years and it’s generally clean and nicely run. Manda and Kelsie served dinner and were really efficient and always friendly. I would thoroughly recommend if you need to stay local.

The rooms were very spacious and beds very comfortable, we arrived after 10pm, we couldn't park in the car park next to the hotel as too late but the parking was convenient and close by, you get a ticket and give them your car reg and its paid by hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely go back if flying from Luton airport.

I stay at loads of Premier Inns each month and this one always has the best staff. They are smiley, friendly, welcoming and always ensure you have a great stay. Special shout out to Bronwyn and Kelsie and the staff in the kitchen. Lovely food, well presented. 😋
