Ibis Hotel (Luoyang Baolong Square)

The location is superb as it is in the city area and just right in front is many eateries and shopping area. The only downside is sometimes it is noisy from people shouting in the middle of the night and the lobby is not on the ground floor, hence not so visible. The front liners are super helpful, respectful and friendly, although their English is a bit limited for an international chain. But not to worry as we have Google translate to assist us when in need. The are very accomodative and provided us with the extra mineral water when we asked for them. Breakfast is a tiny bit dissapointing as the covers of chaffing dish was left open and fried noodles and rice were hard when we came down to eat for breakfast at 830am. i also realised that once its near the closing time nothing much will be replenish. I believe that more food varieties and perhaps more western food can be added for further improvement as one of the reasons some of us choose to go for international chain hotel is because we kinda of expect some more western english breakfast to be served. thank you.

The check in was very quick. The girls were very helpful. The girl checked me out was also very nice and she arranged for free ride back to the train station. I was able to take the taxi anywhere and fortunately the fare was cheaper than other cities.

Good location. There are lots of convenience stores, restaurants around, the big shopping mall is just right in front. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately most rooms are smoking. The first room I got was quite smelly from cigarettes so I asked for a change. The room is very nice and clean, the bed is so comfortable.

Nice locations near shopping mall and cafe. I was a bit down with flu and walked around, pharmacy also nearby. It was not far to go to major attractions in Luo Yang, most of the places within 15 to 30 minutes by taxi. Staff were friendly. And the hotel provided washing machine and dryer, free of charge. The only downside was the lift, took a long time.

I love Ibis, but this Ibis is the best because of the wonderful lady on the reception, her name is CICI. Thank you very much for your help 😌 i felt home 🏡 Ibis hotel overall is good, that's we know))) location is amazing, not far away from Louyang Longmen railway station 🚉 and near a big Mall. It was noisy, but after 23:00-24:00 became silent.

Before coming have added them in WECHAT which they have provided all the information needed. Excellent service from the reception especially the lady Ms 孙 she is awesome and have full knowledge about the Longmen grotto. She has explained every details like which bus to take which station to stop so that you don't walk the longer way. She even explained the sequence of walking so that you will not missed the important part. Very very patience lady.
