Lares de Chacras

I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay for our 2 night stay in Mendoza. This place is just so beautiful and peaceful. The entire staff made sure that we were always comfortable and taken care of. Breakfast and Dinners were wonderful and convenient.

The room was spacious, bathroom and extras provided in bathroom amongst the best experiences in Argentina. Breakfast choice fantastic, I also had dinner, 3 exquisite empanadas and sorentini, a glass of local rose. All staff really helpful. A beautiful seating area inside and out, outdoor furniture lovely standard including around the pristine pool in a very nicely maintained garden. Such a pleasure to stay here.

What a spectacular place! We arrived after spending 2 weeks traveling around Peru and Argentina, and this was by far our favorite hotel. The rooms and public spaces were gorgeous and cozy, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations and reservations. It's nearby a number of wineries and restaurants, or you can have snacks or full meals at the hotel. For an extra special experience, book their private dining room in the wine cellar. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. Would recommend dinner there and a brandy after by the cozy fireplace The beds were great and we wanted the pillows to take home. Very close to shops and dining. They also recommend and arrange transportation to great spots. Alta Vista Winery for bubbly is a must

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. There’s a reason why it’s rated best of the best on TA! Everything from the location to the accommodations and amenities, but most of all the hotel staff, make this place excellent. We stayed for four nights and I did not want to leave! The room was so well appointed and incredibly clean. It had a balcony that faced out onto the pool in the backyard and received the most brilliant sunlight in the afternoons. As for the staff, Ximena is spectacular and practically served as our personal travel agent! She helped me over a couple of weeks to plan our itinerary and recommended incredible wineries and restaurants for us to visit — as well as a bike rental. I cannot thank her enough for her guest service, wonderful suggestions, and patience with me! If you have any questions or requests, she will do anything in her power to make your trip amazing. I also must thank Nico and Jose at the front desk, Augustin and Tomas for driving us to various places, and all of the Lares restaurant wait staff. We had a truly fabulous experience thanks to all of their care and hard work. We certainly hope to return one day!

We visited Mendoza for our honeymoon and loved our stay at Lares de Chacras! The staff were incredibly personable, helpful, and spoke great English. They helped us arrange dinner reservations, bike rental reservations, gave their honest opinions about different wineries and even hosted free wine tastings in the evenings! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff even included a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates for us. The courtyard and pool area were lovely and we enjoyed spending our mornings outside before we headed to the vineyards in the afternoons. The location was great for visiting many wineries - every winery we visited was along a biker-only path that spanned a large part of the city. One day we opted to take Ubers, but even the farthest vineyard we visited was less than a 20 minute drive from the hotel.

My two friends and I went to Lares for a girls weekend. The hotel is well located and within walking distance to other restaurants, wineries, etc. Communication with the hotel was great via WhatsApp. One of our friends was celebrating a birthday and they arranged for flowers to be delivered to her room. Breakfast and dinner were delicious at the hotel. The outdoor seating is also lovely on a warm day. Thanks for a great stay!

Lares de Chacra was perfect for my going solo adventure to Mendoza! They helped me with organizing wine tours…climbing adventures and bike rentals. There was a lovely Sunday market that you can walk to and wineries that you can ride the bike path to as well. The service was amazing and it felt like home.

What a fabulous boutique hotel. Great situation just outside Mendoza, close to the vineyards and the Andes. We were welcomed with a bottle of house red wine and a board of charcuterie. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfasts with a very wide range of choice. We would recommend the restaurant for an evening meal, the steak was perfect just what you would expect in Argentina.
