This is a gorgeous, quaint hotel in a great location just off the main street in Lucca and a short distance from access to the city walls. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and there's a wine bar to the side where we enjoyed delicious wines and got great recommendations for places to eat. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

Charming not too expensive stay in lovely Lucca A former convent with charming rooms and a delicious breakfast each morning. Only con is that it is difficult to drive too being in the restricted zone but has it’s own parking area. Just ask for directions since our gps didn’t work well. Also some rooms overlook the street with noise at night. But these are minor problems.

Really good reception from the staff and lovely individually styled rooms, check the photos and you'll see what I mean. Very good breakfast and good service all round. Parking available and an excellent location close to everything Lucca has to offer.

Lucca is a charming town and found within it’s walls is this equally charming hotel. Paolo and the team seamlessly deliver Italian hospitality at its best. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the hotel serves one of the best continental breakfast spreads I have I have had. But it’s the staff that makes really this place special, efficient, yet friendly and informal nothing seemed too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

What a lovely find in central old town of Lucca. Our room was very comfortable and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Great bathroom with spa bath and good shower. Toiletries provided. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was varied, fresh and good quality. Staff were very friendly. There was an attached wine bar with excellent choices of wine. Would certainly visit again if in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights after reading some great reviews. It did not disappoint. The staff are so friendly and helped with recommendations on restaurants etc. The rooms are stunning and very clean. Lovely bathroom and toiletries. Good range of breakfast. Hot chocolate was amazing! Great location but also quiet. Would highly recommend this place!

Just back from a lovely stay. Beds & pillows were so comfortable & clean. Room was roomy, with a great en suite. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was my favourite part of the stay. I had cereal, soft egg & homemade apple cake. Delicious & set me up for the day.

Unique, charming & beautiful hotel in the heart of Lucca. Will highly recommend! Friendly wine bar with a brilliant wine selection, the best breakfast spread, and a great restaurant. Helped to explore Lucca and beyond! I'll happily return.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location near the Piazza Del Anfiteatro. The bedrooms are all hand-painted with Italian motifs. The reception staff are so very friendly. Breakfast is heavy on sweet items but you can boil your own eggs and there’s cheese….

This is an excellent hotel in every way. Quiet, comfortable & well placed to explore the city on foot. Most helpful staff & a lavish breakfast. The accommodation is stylish & clean & the beds are very comfortable. Highly revommended & worth revisiting.

Comfortable, simple hotel in a restored historic house in the middle of Lucca. Rooms individually and beautifully decorated. Excellent bed and good bathroom. Warm, friendly, and very helpful staff. No lift, which might be a problem for some, if allocated a first or second floor room. A perfect choice for us.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly & helpful. Amazing location, right in the centre but on a quiet side street, close to everything. Beautiful historic building and absolutely charming. It's definitely not a 5* but good value for money and there's obviously a lot of care and attention given to the hotel and to ensuring a great stay for guests.

Great location in Lucca within the walls. Comfortable and spacious room with a spa in the bathroom. Extremely generous and varied breakfast and the staff is very accommodating. We came in a car, but never had to use it. Lucca is a wonderful city!
