La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lubbock West Medical Centr

I was given a room that reeked of dirt and neglect. Upon settling in, my 3-year-old son discovered throw-up next to the bed, along with two syringes—one empty and the other containing visible fluid. This was completely unacceptable and understandably upset me. I promptly went to the front desk to file a complaint. While the clerk did change my room, they treated the situation as if it were no big deal. The new room also had a strong smell of smoke, and I found a cigar wrapper in the trash, which clearly indicated it hadn’t been cleaned properly. To top it off, I noticed numerous homeless individuals wandering in and out of the hotel. I will never stay here again.

NOT SAFE! Dirty & gross. DO NOT STAY HERE! There were zero towels, shampoo, conditioner, or soap in my room at check in. Took 2 hours to get towels. The tv remote was so sticky it didn’t work. My room was right next to a room that had the window busted out and glass shards were everywhere. There was a huge gap under my room door that led directly to the outside. A large rat could have fit through. The exercise room was out of order. The pool/hot tub was closed. The only ice maker in the whole hotel was broken. Zero water pressure in shower. The breakfast only included waffles, eggs and biscuits. Nothing else. Coffee was empty. And the rate was $185 per night. Ridiculous.

The bad taste started when we arrived at 2:30pm and were told there was no way to check in early because it was policy. Check in was not until 3pm. Only 1 of 2 elevators worked and the 1 that did work was intermittent. The door to our room would not open without bumping with you shoulder and looked like someone tried to pry it open at one time.
