Hotel just a short walking distance to Jinshanling great wall entrance. After 4 hrs climbing up and down great wall. It good to walk back to hotel for a rest. Room is spacious and simple. Breakfast is typical Chinese style -- porridge, bun, vegetables. They do offer cook food at reasonable price.
Only con is toilet floor will be wet after showering.

It was a bit hard to find as an international traveller, you have to go all the way to the entrance of the park (past the jianshanling hotel) and the very last right a few hundred feet before the ticket booth and checkpoint, you go right, and it is a few houses down.
The hosts, room, and food were all wonderful and accommodating, the most delicious we have had in china so far!

We had a great stay with Jinshanling B&B. The rooms were big with a nice bathroom. The food for dinner and breakfast were great, dinner has a very big menu. Very convenient location, just a couple minutes from the entrance to the Great Wall area. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was very pleasant. The location was super perfect. Just outside the entrance to the ticketing counter to enter the jinshanling Great wall . The family was very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and was very toughtfully planned. The room looked like it was newly renovated. Itbwas a vrry cosy room. Breakfast was nice and warm and good portions. Can order dinner too and the homecooked food was delicious. . The owner also gave us a ride to Gubei for a very fair fee. I really like this place and would like to.come back

I had an excellent stay at this guest house. The family that runs it is very friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of English is spoken, but don't let that deter you, it's a very welcome place and they'll take care of your needs. They can provide a lot of info on visiting the Wall and the location is just a hundred meters from the entry gate to the Jinshanling Wall. Even though it's still a few 100 meters walking after that, this is the closest you can stay in case you want to get on the wall for sunrise. Dinner was very tasty. I would definitely come back!

I can not rate this place highly enough!! Absolutely brilliant stay if you're hiking on the wall.
They were welcoming and friendly, the room was huge and super clean, nice hot shower with good pressure. The beds were hard, but I've found that's the same all over China. The hosts arranged a taxi for me in the morning to take me back to Gubeikou station. I would definitely recommend this place and would book again in a heartbeat if I was back in the area!
