Hotel Angra

We loved our stay at Hotel Angra. The staff were kind, helpful, and kept our room and the hotel in general impeccably clean. They have water stations throughout to refill water and make coffee in your room. They replenish the coffee and toiletries daily. We slept great; the bed is firm but comfortable, the blackout curtains work great, and the super-powered ceiling fan kept the room cool and the noise out. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are city noises (and chickens!). With the ceiling fan on we didn't hear a thing. We stayed in March and only needed the a/c once a day in the evening to cool things off. They have gated parking but you need to get out of your car to open the gate after hours; the staff is great about opening it for you during the day. The entrance was a little hard to find, but it's right across the street from the gas station. You get a key for the gate for after-hours use. The hotel is about .7 miles from the main public square with tons of local restaurants. It's very safe and we walked back and forth multiple times a day every day. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a vacation in Loreto.

Just got back from a short trip from BCS to do some whale watching. Stayed two nights at Hotel Angra. It was my first time to Loreto. The employee and owner Ana were so nice, always willing to give recommendations to things to do/ places to eat and help call a taxi if needed. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The water pressure is good with hot water. Although it is a bit of a walk to the Loreto historic center, the town itself is very walkable so it was definitely not a problem. We felt safe walking in the area. There is also a nice pharmacy and 24 hour convenience store within 5 minutes of walking. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Very clean rooms, nice reception, open and airy rooms with a great fan and mini split system. The coffee system in the room does the job. Drinking water is easily available outside the rooms. Very secure and well located across from the gas station. Well worth the price

Pros: secure parking, friendly staff, nice spacious rooms, pet friendly, very clean. Drawbacks: no tissues, no hairdryer, no microwave, no fridge, no extra TP, no iron, And at this time, no breakfast. There is a beautiful pedestrian-only historic district in Loreto with a mission, historic capital, and many nice shops and restaurants. But it is a long walk from this hotel. There are numerous nice hotels very near the plaza with only slightly higher prices.
