Aventuras Hotel

Great rooms, clean and staff was fantastic! Will visit again! We had a large group of friends that met for a 50th birthday. Great day fishing, spa and service. Very quiet for a MX beach town, and I have been to most! Hidden gem that has a ton of charm!

Went there for a 3 day weekend with friends and had the best time. The rooms were large with balconies and huge windows. Beds were very comfy. All the amenities were great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There’s also an amazing rooftop bar so we took advantage of that and hung out there quite a bit.

We have visited this small new hotel in a Baja resort community several times. The vibe is good for a recently completed property. All rooms that we saw are equipped and furnished to a high standard. The beach is a two minute walk away. The roof top has a pool and hot tub, extraordinary views of the coastline and Carmen and Coronado Islands, and food and beverage service. The hotel had a gym and a restaurant called Ocotillo that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Within a ten minute walk, there are half a dozen other eating establishments, two liquor stores, a bakery, a pharmacy, and two or three convenience stores. The Aventuras is themed as offering - through a sister organization also called Aventuras - a whole range of Baja experiences on land or sea. We didn't try those but those who did came back happy. If we had the bucks and two other couples to share, Aventuras has a 2000 square foot roof top three bedroom suite - fully equipped with a large living, dining, and kitchen area that we'd like to try. The cost per couple would be about the cost of an average hotel room in any big city.

I stayed at Cordelia 2 times now and had the best time ever. First visit was last Nov when I raced the Baja 1000 and rested for a week after at the hotel. managed to fit in some trail rides in and an ebike tour. All out of the hotel. Second was this february. Another adventure holiday. We rode dirt bikes from east coast to the west coast. Ate well and got baja dusty. Cordelia was such a treat. High end finish hotel with all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Located in Loreto bay and has an adventure company downstairs to help plan my adventures. We rode dirt bikes for 5 days. E-bike for one day and fish for one day. All taken care of by Aventuras adventure group. We ate at the fine dine restaurant in the lobby. (great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Also has a great coffee shop across the street. This was a real adventure trip yet still very relaxing in the hotel. Comfortable ac and big Tv to chill in the rooms. My room had fridge and small kitchen so i could prepare my snacks. Meals. Work out gym also in the hotel. Roof top bar and dining and pool/hot tub. Its 10 mins from the airport. I cant stress enough the convenience of it all. See you again in Nov. The best about it is each time I go I have a different plan. Next time I go I am taking speed UTV side by side on a 3 day tour to pacific side. There is a golf course across the street. Highly recommend.

The hotel is brand new and beautiful....BUT there are coffee cups but no coffee in the rooms. There is a desk BUT no chair or plugin at the desk. Not the most thought out layout or appointments. Comfortable and clean. We have been here twice, and will recommend as very limited availability right in Loreto Bay.

The Cordelia Hotel and Spa is a sham. They failed to mention when we made reservations for our 58th Wedding anniversary that we would hear construction noise all day and that the elevator would not be working for the 4 days of our stay. Upon checking out the hotel manage Rodolfo said they would provide a 1 night stay credit for our inconvenienced. The credit was never approved by the owners. This hotel should not be on any hotel booking website because they opened for business and construction of the hotel was not finished, any reputable hotel in the world would advise booking customers of the situation and perhaps offer an incentive to still come and enjoy their hotel. Not the Cordelia, they must think their customers are ******. Noise, no elevator to get to your room. Don't ever book this hotel they are not honest or honorable people to do business with.
