A brilliant stay. A guesthouse overlooking the estuary, so fantastic views from the front. A nice covered terraced area for guests to sit and also enjoy their welcome tea and coffee on arrival. What a lovely idea! Hosts were very hospitable and helpful making sure guests felt welcome. Room on top floor had a fabulous view. Nice clean room with attention to detail - everything you needed down to box of tissues! Particularly liked the fresh milk put in the fridge every day for your morning cuppa etc. Biscuit choice too. Very comfy bed. Plenty of hot water, and toiletries. Plenty of sockets too. Breakfast was fabulous, Plenty of choice and flexibility. Beautifully cooked. Not scrimping on anything All high quality, specially lovely back bacon. Hosts were lovely. You could see they cared about their guests. Parking permits paid by owner enabled parking nearby. A great stay. Thankyou or making our visit so enjoyable.

Greeted by Andrew who served us coffee on a tray with a beautiful rose! Drinking it overlooking the river was a relaxing start to our two night break. Unfortunately we didn't have a river view room but the room we did have was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. It was spotless, we had chairs, a fridge, ample storage and a very comfortable bed. Fresh milk, biscuits and a selection of teas and coffee. Even a taste of local rum! Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and all done with a smile. Advice on local activities and restaurants was given and we were made to feel like family. Throughout our stay great attention was paid to detail and there was a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for helping to make a very rainy stay special!

Lovely couple who put themselves out to provide the little extras. Comfy room and bed. Super cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend. As the house is approached by a steep slope, and obviously because it is a beautiful period property without a lift, this must be taken into account when booking. However, we loved it!

second time staying in this beautiful hotel. Stephanie and Andrew are just the best hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. the rooms are spotless and comfy. The breakfast is freshly cooked with a lot of choice, the fresh kipper is my favourite, the full English breakfast is also very good. Looe is a beautiful place with many good pubs, eateries pastie shops and independent shops. Will definitely be returning, and staying at the Dolphin House.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this lovely guest house. With comfy rooms that have the best views on the harbour, and a first class breakfast, this is a little gem. Andrew and Stephanie are the perfect hosts, offering a very welcome cuppa on arrival. . It's needed after a long drive. Nothing is too much trouble. There is also free allocated parking spaces across the road. A must in looe. We definitely aim to come back. Thank you.

Stephanie and Andrew are amazing hosts, so warm and friendly from the minute you check in. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect, we had such a wonderful time and we will definitely be staying there again.

Lovely stay here. Parking was easy with a pass for the car park across the road. Lots of small touches that make all the difference in a stay. Fridge with milk, water, tray with tea, coffee etc. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Wonderful view. Breakfast was delicious! Stephanie and Andrew are friendly but not imposing hosts. They have the balance just right. We stayed in room 4 and definitely would again, however the bathroom door concertinas and for some access to the toilet might be slightly challenging for more well built people. Lovely walk into Looe Harbour. Restaurants are booked quickly and some won't take bookings for just 2 people so you just have to try your luck. We had takeaway meals on a couple of nights sitting in the harbour which was really lovely. Beautiful place, lovely people. Definitely recommend

Stayed here for 3 nights for my Birthday. Absolutely wonderful place and Andrew & Stephanie can't do enough for you. You are made welcome from the moment you walk in, very homely feel. The breakfast is one of the best i've ever had, so fresh and cooked to perfection. Rooms are immaculate, lovely seating areas over looking the River. Already booked for next year, can't wait to return.

if you stay at the dolphin house you are in for a treat, the rooms are all kept immaculate beds are so comfortable, and hosts Andrew and Stephanie are really the best, enjoy a great breakfast and enjoy the views of the harbour at sun sets on the water
