Valley view hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View! The staff is very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Ping’an Village is about a 30-minute walk from Valley View, a walk that allows you to walk down steps amongst rice terraces. We enjoyed each meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Valley View. And the dogs are sweet and wonderful, too!

Very friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area) This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well. Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

The location is amazing, only few steps away from one of the best viewpoint! The restaurant is good even if the cuisine is a little bit more international! Paying something more we had also the chance to see them and prepare together the bamboo rice! The structure and the room are very nice, spacious and traditional! In order to get to the hotel, you need to catch the electric car (funny experience!). The only negative aspect is that during the night 2 cockroaches appeared…but we left the lights on and everything turned ok (they are scared of the light)!

The hotel is amazing and staff was also very nice and ready to help. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch there and it was delicious! The view was great, with the terraces literally behind the corner, but the hotel is in a quiet place
