guest are well accommodated and affordable. They offer free room baggage as well on case you want to go for a walk around the city with baggage free

The location of the hotel is excellent as it’s next to Queensway tube station to catch the central line. But this is only positive I can give. The hotel needs updating. I booked a double room with twin beds (for me and my adult niece) (room 403) I did get the twin beds but the room was very small and was L-shaped bedroom. So one bed was facing the TV as you walk in the room and the other bed was around the corner on the L shape of the room. That person would not be able to watch any TV if they wanted to. There was a very tiny table which also had the kettle and cups and hardly any space to put our own things on there. The table was really worn out as you can see in the pics. The bathroom was nice and clean with a good power shower but if you are tall with long legs this bathroom is not good for you as when you sit in the toilet your legs will touch the shower cubicle. There is absolutely no space between the toilet and shower wall/cubicle. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes or in the bedroom and it’s really annoying. Breakfast is minimalistic but you do have basic bread, scrambled egg, tea, coffee and fruit juices. The staff were nice but I didn’t complain as I did all the complaining on the phone before arriving. I booked the room through trip.com but I was unable to cancel the booking due to no cancellation policy. I felt they were unhelpful considering the reasons I gave them which I won’t write here. I believed the hotel was expensive for standard it was. The room was also not clean. The radiator was filthy. I read some of the reviews on here but thought it’ll be ok and that was my mistake. Then I read some reviews again during my stay there that there are rats on first floor which terrified me the whole night. Please look for another hotel. I paid £294 for 2 nights. For that amount I could’ve booked elsewhere with better hotel standards. If you do book this hotel then avoid room 403.

Nice location

The room we were given first was dirty; different stains and marks covered parts of the walls, there were spiders in corners of the room; the bed was on wheels so every time we sat on it it would start rolling towards the wall, paint was peeling off the walls. When we first complained then refused to change our room and were unpleasant to talk to on the phone and even claimed we threatened them when we asked to change rooms. We went out into London and came back an hour later, spoke to a different member of staff and they then let us change rooms into a much more pleasant and clean room.

Very dirty rooms. TV didn’t work and no air con. Had to be moved rooms as tv was broken. Room was very hot and small

PLEASE READ!! Now I'm not one to complain at all. But this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed in, mice and rats in the room and when brought it to the receptionist attention she laughed it off and said "your your not the first one to say that" I then asked to be moved to a different room and they said the hotel is fully booked out... I found it hard to believe as the place was absolutely dead. Asked to speak to the manager and was told that there is no manager and they don't know when he's back. The rooms are very dirty, the floors are very noisy when walking on them, the beds sheets and carpet is very dirty, the corners of the carpet is eaten away by the rats. Picture below shows how dirty the wall and carpet are. The rat came from behind that wardrobe. NEVER AGAIN!!!
