Very pleasant reception. No welcome drink offered, as others have mentioned. The room had been decorated with balloons and petals which was a lovely touch. It was an anniversary and we even received cake! The room on the 6th floor (607) was very clean. Restricted view, a random curtain that opened onto a wall? The vestibule area is very cramped, very few places to store your things. I’d certainly consider upgrading if you’re there more than a couple of nights. Great beds. We spotted the pillow menu and rang for a couple and were informed they didn’t have any of the options available. Hmm Rain shower is great. Climate control is a bit annoying. Turns off if the pir doesn’t detect you. Staff setting it at 25degrees Celsius on hot days is a bit inconsiderate. Lounge access is a good concept. Breakfast is plentiful but very chaotic on weekends. I’m not sure what they do to their bacon for it to be served clumped together in a trough and dry, but everything else was good and the omelette station a delicious treat. Happy hour is fun. It’s a relaxing spot outside of breakfast service and well stocked with soft drinks, beers and basic snacks throughout the day. Staff are friendly, unobtrusive and service on the whole is faultless. It’s worth upgrading if you’re staying more than a night in London.

What a wonderful few days at Meliá White House! The staff are fantastic, with nothing being too much, Monica and Troy at breakfast in the Level were brilliant with helping get my coffee made to my slightly excessive demands! The room was brilliant, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The requests for extra towels and an iron were responded to quickly. While most ‘chain’ hotels in London feel impersonal and the same, the White House feels like its own hotel, but knowing it will have the standard you expect from a Meliá hotel. If you can book a Level room as the lounge is excellent and breakfast was brilliant. Can’t recommend the hotel enough!

Zubair was pleasant company, welcoming and friendly. When I came in he offered me a glass of Cava and was happy to help me with any questions I had. He definitely was carry the great energy around the level lounge as well as Sebastian he gave me a warm welcome upon arrival.

Wonderful experience. Booked a hotel and parking package. The service in the lounge was exceptional. A lovely variety of snacks and drinks included in our package. The room was big and offered a runway view and a free mini bar and coffee pod machine. The bed was to die for. Shower great. quiet and peaceful. Lovely breakfast the next morning. Direct access to the terminal. Staff amazing. Would 100% recommend!!

Zubair - excellent service from Zubair in the Level lounge. He made our family feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and made sure he took care of our specific dietary needs at the tapas hour. He made the children feel most welcome and was courteous and polite.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel but the main question I asked myself before giving an overall rating is would I stay here again. My answer is yes as long as the price was good. The location is amazing. We managed to walk to a lot of places. The hotel is very busy and can feel very clinical and not create that warm fuzzy feeling that you would like from a hotel. However, Magdalena, who introduced herself and took care of us in the Level lounge changes the conception of just being treated like another body amongst the masses. She was so warm and friendly. She made us feel very special. The Meliá group can feel very privileged to have an employee of such high calibre. Thank you Magdalena. The gym at the hotel has very little equipment for such a busy hotel and it is old. But, you will get in your exercise because there are only three working lifts for such a busy hotel. You will need to use the stairs. The quality and quantity of the food at the level lounge is very good. It is great to have an extra place to sit and to get a snack throughout the day. The rooms have some serious design problems. The most important is that the divider between the bathroom and bedroom is frosted glass. You can clearly see the silhouette of the person showering. This can be very awkward for some people traveling together. Also, you can’t turn on the bathroom light at night because it will also disturb people sleeping in the room. This is also no cupboard, just a rail to hang your clothes. There is no proper desk if you need to work during your stay. We did have a problem with housekeeping . Our room was not done three days in a row even when we only returned at 5pm. This problem was rectified after we complained. The rooms are big. I would recommend staying at the level as opposed to the regular White House hotel.

I don’t know how I feel about this hotel. I booked it for our 6th wedding anniversary and spent £500 for two nights. After reading the reviews I was expecting to be amazed with the level service and hotel but I don’t know what I thought, the whole set up is odd. Firstly, the annoying lifts, we took 5 flights of stairs mostly because when selecting the level you want, the lifts take ages or when they come they are packed. Secondly, I told them it was our anniversary and after looking at other peoples reviews I was getting excited thinking that we would perhaps have some balloons or a message in our room but when we got there, nothing, then whilst I was in the shower there was a knock on the door and a lady said ‘happy anniversary’ and handed me a leaflet that said happy anniversary, I was just confused tbh. I can’t lie, the breakfast at the level was good and had a good range for gluten free people too but again I read loads on this ‘amazing service’ and we didn’t have one person come up to us for the two days we ate there?. When we went to see where the level area was after we came back one evening we got shouted at by staff down the corridor who said ‘excuse me, that’s closed!’ I felt like saying alright calm down I just wanted to see where it was haha. In our room we had broken bathroom tiles, the shelf in the shower was hanging off, marks on the walls, no normal tv channels - you have to connect it to your phone which took decades as the prime video wouldn’t work only Netflix. Overall, very disappointed, I thought we would be amazed at the service and quality of the hotel, we had no service and the quality is sub par, it just left us feeling a bit deflated, not what you want for celebrating a special occasion.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff was very polite expesual Magdalena who works with smile and attitude.She give as tourists information which place to visit and see.It is great pleasure to feel like special gest. The hotelis with excellent location. Thanks a lot.
