Travelodge London Central Kings Cross Hotel

The property is surprisingly good. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Sacki and Josie are extremely kind and helpful. They are always available and willing to help. Recommend this property for an extreme value for money stay property.

Great place for the price! It’s centrally located, so just walking distance from kings cross station. The staff is helpful, the room is large, and the attached washroom is of a decent size. Special thanks to Josie and Sacki for a fab stay!!

I tried to check into this hotel late on Tuesday night. I had booked and paid for my room. When I arrived I was informed by a staff member that there was an "emergency" and that my room was "water-damaged" and as a result not available. The only alternative was for me to stay at Travel Lodge at London City airport according to the receptionist. I ended up sleeping on the floor of my friend's hotel room at another hotel. I asked for a refund and I was told flippantly to "contact customer service". I am appalled - I booked and paid for a room I never got to use.

Staff were amazing, really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel location is ideal for the station and so many of the central amenities. Breakfast cheap and cheerful and a good start to the day!

As basic as you can get. Advertised as having AC, there was no AC (there was a plug in fan). One hand cloth for 2 people, no tissues, although there was hand soap on the bathroom wall, tiny TV located near the window. Everything just seemed cheap and really stripped back. The location was great, the hotels only redeeming feature. We fell for the all you can eat £7.95 breakfast, until we saw it. Pancakes, croissants, bagels & the weakest coffee! No eggs, no bacon, no sausage. Thankfully we found a small local place for a delicious breakfast (Carmen’s Cafe) right down the street. The room price increases daily as you get closer to the weekend, so what is acceptable at £66/night is not so great at £197.

Our stay at King’s Cross Travelodge was great. We were upgraded at check in which was a lovely surprise. All of the staff were chatty especially the manager. At breakfast the lady had a rude customer, but she felt with it professionally.
