An Absolutely Exceptional Stay in the Heart of London! Our stay at Hyde London City was nothing short of exceptional, and we completely agree with all the glowing reviews – this hotel is a true gem! The location is simply unbeatable, right in the vibrant City of London, making it incredibly convenient for exploring St. Paul's Cathedral, hopping on the City Thameslink, and accessing all the capital has to offer. The hotel's design is absolutely stunning, perfectly blending historic charm with modern, stylish, and vibrant touches – it truly creates a unique and inviting atmosphere. What really made our experience stand out was the outstanding staff and service. Every team member we encountered was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and our room was wonderfully comfortable, providing a quiet and restful haven after busy days. The amenities were also excellent, contributing to a seamless visit. I would just note that the bathroom doors, while stylish, don't allow for complete privacy. This wasn't an issue for me as a solo traveler, but it's something couples might want to be aware of. However, this is a minor detail that absolutely did not detract from our overwhelmingly positive experience. We had a truly fantastic time and would wholeheartedly recommend Hyde London City for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located base in London!

I stayed at Hyde London City during a mid-spring hop through the UK and wasn’t disappointed. I’m always scouting hotels that go beyond cookie-cutter offerings - and Hyde, which opened in late 2024, stands out as both a bold, creative space and a well-oiled hotel machine. A design-led bolthole that still knows how to take care of business, the rooms are perfectly sized for solo stays or couples - think deep blues, textural headboards, soft boucle chairs, and little surprises like Bang & Olufsen speakers and Malin + Goetz products that smell divine. Location-wise, you’re in easy reach of St. Paul’s, the Barbican, and Clerkenwell’s creative undercurrent. But it’s also the kind of hotel that lets you stay in without guilt. The Turkish restaurant Leydi was a major highlight; Small plates like Atom yoghurt with smoked garlic and warm Muhammara with pomegranate were absolutely addictive. I’d happily return just to eat here again—even without staying overnight. Would I stay again? Absolutely. Hyde makes good on its promise of playful, smart living in a city where too many hotels phone it in.
