Upper Deck Resort - Stay and Relax at the Highest Peak Lonavala

Disappointing Experience Despite Premium Pricing The overall management of the Upper Deck is well below expectations. Despite spending over ₹25,000 for a night—including food and beverages—the experience was deeply underwhelming. Room service was unavailable, and the buffet was poorly managed. Replenishment was often delayed, and guests had to constantly chase the service staff for basic items. To make matters worse, the food quality was subpar—nowhere near what you'd expect at a resort positioned at this price point. Given the lack of service, poor food standards, and overall mismanagement, I would not recommend this property to anyone. A resort charging premium rates must at least deliver the basics right.

The property is beyond words, it's so beautiful and well-maintained. The amenities are pretty decent and the hotel is huge. The prices are very premium equivalent to a 5-star property but the food, the buffet spread and the overall services are not at par with the price they charged. The breakfast has very limited options and the "live" Maggi and vada pav are not part of the buffet and charged separately as al a carte. The rooms and washrooms are pretty average and could use some work. The al a carte menu is priced very expensive. Overall, great place but needs improvement in terms of the services for the prices charged.

The resort is just average. The approach road is broken and needs serious repairs. Within the resort, the staff is good but needs to become more courteous and elucidate warmth. The guests are there to have a good time. It would be great if there are some evening activities for children and adults

A most wonderful stay. Beautiful property & views. Very spacious rooms. Well equipped. We stayed in the cottage and it had a nice balcony. We got sun, rains & fog all in a single day. Food was tasty. The staff is very efficient and courteous. The access road to the hotel is a bit narrow. It is a pet friendly hotel. They have cats and geese on the property.

We visited the resort in Feb 2025, booked a cottage with partial mountain view. We came via train from Mumbai, and auto from Lonavala station. While returning, called the same auto driver and he dropped at Neeta Inn where we had booked a Neeta bus. Pros: - Great view from the resort - Well planned layout, with greenery and pool - Courteous staff Cons: - Food is costly, and quantity per dish is less (in a la carte) - Time taken to serve the dish is high - No wifi

The food was another highlight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Each meal was a delightful experience, with fresh ingredients and flavors that satisfied our palate. However, it’s important to note that the resort does not offer room service, which might be a consideration for some guests. Despite this, the overall experience was delightful, and we would highly recommend Upper Deck Resort for a peaceful getaway amidst nature.
