Awful customer service. Managers are just unhelpful and rude. Cristal is exceptionally rude and unhelpful not sure how she is a manager. As a gold elite member with 30 plus nights and weekly visits, I should not receive such abhorrent service.

I stayed here for a weekend while attending some baseball games in Chicago. The location is super convenient. It was easy to get to and from the highway, there is lots of shopping nearby, it is walking distance to a Target, and there is every restaurant you can imagine within a 5 minute drive. The staff I interacted with were all friendly and the hotel grounds appeared well maintained. The elevator was a bit glitchy in the building I was in, so I preferred the stairs. My room was clean, but needed some maintenance as there was water damage on the ceiling and the floor of the bathroom. My second floor room had a few ants, but that didn't bother me too much given that the room has a kitchen. The air conditioning, fridge, and other amenities in the room all worked well. All in all, not a bad place to spend the weekend. I was very happy with my visit.

Having Titanium status with Marriott hotels, I've spent 60 nights in their hotels this year. I had planned a 3 night stay at this hotel, but business called and I needed to be in another state on the 3rd day. I informed the front desk that I will be checking out early. I was told by the GM, Rebekah Burton, that I would be charged for that day. (which I found out was full price!!!!). My status and the number of times I've stayed in the area didn't matter to her. I understand late cancellation of an entire reservation, but I had already stayed 2 nights! I called Marriott customer service... they sent Ms. Burton a "case". Ms. Burton sent me an email with their cancellation policy and zero empathy. The service at Marriott has gone down in the last 6 months, and I strongly recommend staying somewhere other than here.

Hotel is under construction and they started this morning at 545am. Sounded like 8-10 tanks outside my window and the sun wasn’t even out yet… Usually a decent place to stay, but 545am for multiple pieces of heavy equipment???!?? Would highly advise not to stay here until construction is done (mid 2024).

I booked prepaid reservation and they charged me rack rate. They said my credit card declined but they never reached out to fix the issue and even did not mention while checking in that reservation rate was changed.

The bad news with this hotel started the moment I tried to check in. I arrived at the property to find I couldn’t get into the lobby to check in. The doors require a key to get into the property. There was nobody behind the desk, so I used the guest phone to call. No answer. I sat looking at the empty check-in desk from outside the locked door. After knocking on the window and much waiting finally someone showed up. Unfortunately, when she got there, she had a bad attitude. I guess I interrupted her break. I finally got checked in and was instructed to go to my room. As I was leaving, she also mentioned, “By the way, the elevator doesn’t work“. Not such a big deal - but when you’re carrying two weeks worth of luggage, plus your work stuff it’s a bit annoying. When I got into the room, it is dirty and very dated. One look at the chairs in the picture and you’ll see, it’s filthy, worn out, and the couches collapsed. The bedrooms, and everything else isn’t much better. So far this year I’ve spent over 190 nights in hotels. I know what to expect have a pretty good idea of what’s good and what isn’t. This one, isn’t. Not to mention, I’m an ambassador class guest, if this is how they treat me, good luck.

Pros: excellent staff, very helpful and worked to resolve all issues. Thanks to the front desk staff, Yvette and Shannon. Location worked well for us. Compliments on the quality of the coffee and the towels. Reasonable rates. Cons: poor maintenance, rooms not cleaned well. Broken air conditioner, dirty microwave, missing furniture, junk under the bed. Needs a deep cleaning. We needed to relocate to a third room to get to a usable room. Will not stay there again.

Great location. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good as always, The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. I will stay always here when I come to Chicago. Thank you for your excellent service.

I couldn't believe they had a dishwasher, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, utensils, plates, a stainless steel pan, a mixing bowl, & a measuring cup. They had a four burner tiny oven, a five-foot refrigerator, a full size ironing board and iron, and they also give you dish-soap and dishwasher soap for these. The showers have mounted dispensable soap with menthol, but their hairdryers are normal sized not attached to the wall, and you will find the usual little collection of tiny soap and lotion with a pair of make-up wipes individually wrapped. Housekeeping was respectful and the front desk people were both sweet & helpful. Breakfast was oatmeal in a crock pot with elaborate toppings to chose from, either boiled egg or scrambled or little cheesy omelets, AND either pancakes or big ole waffles or sausages, and a decent amount of cereals, orange or apple juice, good coffee, any kind of muffin or toast or bagels. and the pickens were not slim. The team was right on it. TWO WEEKS! and even though you could hear the other rooms voices they sounded very far away like down the street. I know people whose houses have thinner walls than that. No weird smells, No loud noises, No unpleasant finds, It was absolutely lovely! CLEAN neighborhood. You don't find masks, or target bags, or what-not blowing around. People are not rude to you outside of the motel. Traffic is not even as brutal as my hometown. People park considerately and don't blow their horns like doorbells. And i feel the need to say i smelled zero smoke from anyplace that i went during my entire two week stay. No smoke of any kind or variety or type. Wish i could live in the area. The front desk people gave me any extras that i needed such as new sheets and comforter and pillow cases, and toilet paper. They assured me about the neighborhood. The only attempted theft was a squirrel trying to steal some heat when i was packing my car to leave. (that would have been an ugly ride) So now you may have a better idea what you need to pack and would like to leave at home if possible. I only wished i had brought a few coat hangers for my clothes because five wasn't enough. (my bad)
