We stumbled across this wee gem after a walk. The yummiest pizza and lovely atmosphere. The owners Liz and Billy were so warm and welcoming to me, my mum and my two children making delicious hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows and flakes!!) thanks so much. Jamie x

Amazing welcoming hosts Wonderful views - location is exceptional Wonderful food - pizzas were fresh and delicious It’s a hidden gem down a dirt track - I want to comeback to loch Goilhead not only because it’s so beautiful but also because the hosts were so warm and welcoming and the pizza SO good!

I have had the pleasure of travelling the world with work and eating some great food in great locations. This is probably in my top 3 pizzas I have had but knocks everywhere out of the park when it comes to the vista from the table. Well worth a lengthy detour for the food and hospitality!

This place is a hidden gem. We stopped in for lunch and had really good pizzas. Delicious sourdough base and quality toppings. The views of Loch Goil from the restaurant and the beer garden are second to none. We will definitely be back next time we visit Lochgoilhead.

Fantastic hotel in a stunning location. Arrived late and the kitchen was closed but they still went out of their way to make a speciality pizza. (Pepperoni Bee Sting). Great staff and lovely pub too. A place you must visit if you are in Lochgoilhead.

Thank you Billy, Liz and Watson ! The best place we had during this journey in Scotland ! The room (Campbell) was spacious and we also had a large bathroom. We really felt at home during this 2-night-stay. The breakfast (various options) is served in the big room with view on the Loch. You had food options at the place during the day (light one but we understand that a pizza menu is on his way). The bonus is the pub inside with good options of beers and whisky, but most important with clients from the Loch (very friendly, we had a very good time with them). It gave so much more life than anywhere else. And don't worry about the noise as it closed at 10 pm and people was really respectful with that (owners and clients)

An absolutely beautiful property , spotlessly clean, amazing breakfast plus very approachable and down to earth hosts . Great location for fishing and the Goil Inn is a 2 min walk , Billy is an amazing cook , my husband doesn’t like fish so Billy went out of his way to make him a curry instead , not many hosts would do that , plus Watson the dog …just so well behaved We will definitely be back .

A gem! Small inn on the shore of a loch. The view constantly changes with the tide. Very walkable area, although there is not a lot to do. Close to Carrick Castle and Moses Well. The single track road to get there was a surprise, but by third day we were traveling it almost like the locals. The best host and hostess ever!

I stayed here recently with my wife . I can’t praise Billy and Liz highly enough for their unbelievable hospitality. The property is spotless throughout and has an amazing view over the lake especially from the dining room . Billy’s fish and chips are to die for as is the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. I can’t wait to stay at The Shore House again.
