Hotel Miramar

Great hotel and a perfect location for seeing the resort. Room spotless and cleaned every day with fresh towels and toiletries. Beds very comfy and the sea view was just the best. Can’t fault it. Also with the choice for breakfast you will not go hungry.

I’m very dissatisfied with this stay. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but lacks! They definitely are on a budget as they treat guest like so… upon arrival (we arrived mid night as our package was love holidays) and got allocated a room on the 5th floor, the room was very tight and so warm and stuff and faced another building close. We tried to use the aircon but it blew only hot air and when we ask reception (which was a security guard only) he said come tomorrow at 8am. Are you joking? So you’re expected to wait the whole night to get an issue solved. Then we asked for a spare fan or something and they said they didn’t have any. The room had hairs on the bed when we ripped the sheets off and one of the towels too had a hair. We had a rough night. Add to this there wasn’t any water in the fridge . There wasn’t a kettle for tea or no teas or coffee or anything really in the room which for a four star you would think basic. Anyways the next day the lovely lady on reception was kind enough to upgrade us to a front facing room which was more comfortable and cooler. We were grateful. The breakfast was decent! The dinner was in another hotel down the street..also decent.. Now the part that I felt absolutely disgusted by.. On our last day there, we decided to have lunch at the restaurants in front on the street. I ordered the biriyani rice (why? I dunno as it was utter crap!) I complained and said it’s doesn’t taste right and got laughed at and he just said it’s not an Indian restaurant and walked away. Well why have it on your menu if you cook it like crap! I then complained again and the other waiter took it away.. but then they expected us to pay for it when I hadn’t even eaten it. Like two spoons and I was like nah it’s not right… I said I’m not paying for it and he went to call the manager who seemed to hide away and make him to do the dirty work.. he then came back and made me pay 10 euros from 17 euros …still a lot of money and wasted and what horrible customer service! Absolutely disgusting! I’m never going back here. Disgraceful! No good customer service..(except for the kind lady on reception … enough said..

Just returned home from a holiday in Lloret. If you want a lovely place to drink something... I can recommend Miramar Lounge at the Promenade. A very tastefull and cosy place to sit with a nice view over the sea and an amazing service from, I think an Italian, very friendly waitress with curly dark hair.

Firstly, I'd like to say I really enjoyed our little mini break at the Miramar Hotel, we upgraded to a sea view and the view was lovely. However, the rooms are so basic, no kettle?? I was disappointed as I like to make a coffee and Breakfast only opened at 8am. Anyway, it was clean, spacious, poss need coat hangers, there's a safe and the shower was nice. The rooftop pool area is really nice, but we saw a few people struggling to get in and out of the pool as there was a large step and no hand rail? Handrails required round the pool and steps upto the pool would make a big difference. Also there are no parasols up there, not sure if that's because of the wind? I think it would be better to remove the spa cos it doesn't get used and put in a bottle bar. You can get drinks from the bar downstairs but they were expensive. Better to go to the Spar or a shop and buy your own. I don't think I would return to the resort as it wasn't really my scene

We chose this hotel as it looked central and what we needed for our 3 day break. Check in was easy and by a lovely lady on reception, we arrived early morning and our room was ready, our friends room wasn't but that wasn't a problem and worth the wait, they had a beautiful sea view room with balcony. Tourist tax was about €8 for our stay. We was on the second floor no balcony just a window over looking the alley. The room was very clean and modern with a free safe (bonus) good storage etc, fridge and cleaned everyday. The small pool is on the roof top with a handful of sunbeds. Nice to chill there for an hour. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're wanting a central short stay, if you're going for a family holiday maybe chose one of the bigger hotels with a pool bar etc. thank you for a pleasant stay.

I have just returned from a slightly damp week in Lloret. For the third time I chose the Hotel Miramar. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that all of the bedrooms have had a complete refit and upgrade. The bedroom is in a soft and very comfortable pastel oatmeal shade. The bed was brand new and had a very comfortable mattress. It felt almost as though it was one of the new memory foam ones. I slept really well. The wardrobe is now open-plan and more than adequate for two people staying one or two weeks. The safe in the wardrobe is strong and simple to use. The bathroom was well laid out with a large, walk in shower. The shower its self was great. A real deluge of lovely hot water. As is often the case, this hotel is made by the high quality of the staff. From reception to Breakfast Room to outside covered restaurant the staff were excellent. Attentive and knowledgeable, they were a delight. As I was suffering from a knee problem, the ladies in the breakfast room even made and brought my coffee to me every morning. The breakfast was well cooked, well presented and tasty with a huge range of choice. In the outside restaurant the choices are interesting and I can happily say that I had some great lunches and suppers. My thanks go to all at the hotel for making my stay an excellent experience.
