Hotel on first look is clean staff on call that night were friendly and helpful we were shown part way to our room room was nice a bit on the small side 3 single beds and a dresser there’s not much room to walk around and with me having walking troubles I found this hard the curtain in the room wasn’t on the rail correctly and didn’t close that well the bathroom was clean the flush was a bit wobbly and the bottom but had come away ( stilled worked ) the balcony was small had a couple of chairs and a small table restaurant was clean food was nice restaurant staff were friendly pool area was small for the size of hotel in summer I think it would be too packed there’s a couple of pool tables we were all inclusive and was given a ribbon to go on wrist I couldn’t wear mine ( made me itch) and the bartender got a bit off with me but served us the lady bar tender I didn’t have the same issue with you pay 1euro per breaker for drinks then get refunded when return them the hotel is near shops and the beach the noise from other residents was loud ( not hotels fault) over all we enjoyed the stay this isn’t a negative comment i would probably stay here again

This is our 5th visit to the Copacabana Hotel; first time was 46 years ago for our honeymoon. We actually check out in July 1st but thought I’d write our review while we were still here. We’re here for 2 weeks fully inclusive and to be honest, we can’t fault it. Yes, it’s dated and the rooms are basic but it’s very clean. You’re not spending 24/7 in your room so just get on with it and enjoy yourselves. Pool area is small, but we never had a problem getting a lounger or pulling up a chair outside. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing’s too much trouble. Some reviews criticise the food, why? You know you’re booking a 3* hotel so why expect cordon bleu cuisine? There’s something for everyone at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice of salads is fantastic, there’s always pasta, cold meats and cheeses, a fresh fish dish and a cooked meat dish every day not forgetting a daily paella dish. Always plenty of chips and the desserts are good. If you can’t find something to eat from the choices you’re given, well…🤷‍♀️ Anyway, we’ve had 5 good holidays here over the years, thank you to everyone who works here. If you’re going to leave a tip, leave some for the chambermaids; they’re awesome. Your room is cleaned daily, clean sheets and towels provided, can’t fault them. Also, don’t forget the hard working restaurant and bar staff.

The rooms: The rooms are very outdated though maid service was everyday with fresh towels and bedding changed. The bathroom very small and awkward to enter and exit shower definately a slip hazzard. The walls are paper thin so restful sleep is not guaranteed security had to visit rooms at 04:00 am and argue to keep the noise down from some boisterous residents. The pool area: consists of only 28 sun loungers in total an inadequete amount for the patrons in the hotel. There is a smoking area allocated between bar and pool area though smoking was apparent round pool area. The buffet: food holding was tepid at best and repetitive. The Bar area: large but needs updating.
