Can’t fault this place. £40 for a room in the city centre on a match day night is ridiculously cheap. Have your own bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bedding was spotless - reception very helpful and friendly Perfect for the price

the hotel was okay until me and my friend tried to go to sleep and was woken up twice by a false fire alarm with no explanation and we werent the only room who tried to leave because of the worry of the alarm it made us very anxious for the rest of our stay

Was put in a room in the basement where there was a strong sewage smell - not sure how anyone is expected to stay/sleep through that. Thankfully we were moved one floor up where the room was better however still quite filthy. (Sheets with stains, bed pallets were dirty) Check out time of 11am however from 9:40 the housekeepers were playing loud music for all to hear and having loud conversations in the hallways. Not pleasant to be woken out of sleep by this. Wouldn’t stay here again , plenty of other hotels this cheap that are 10x better

I checked in this hotel for a week, I was in my room for less than 1 hour on check in day and I was told my dad passed away suddenly, I was devastated, still am obviously, this company cancelled my hole stay and kept all my money, no empathy or nothing

Room was a bit crap. But you get what you pay for. I’m giving such a high rating purely based off of the lovely Daniel up front. He made the night 10x more enjoyable with his amazing hospitality. In my personal opinion, a raise is well deserved :)

Our room was like a dungeon It didn’t smell the best on arrival The room was freezing, penguins would’ve been cold The bed was like a camp bed in the 1940s Pillows were quite comfy though………… The receptionist Daniel was a vibe so made our night :)

One star because the staff were nice. Thats it! 1: Place is DIRTY!!! 2: Bed sheet had multiple hairs in it, im bald! 3: Cold water in shower. 4: Bathroom walls had strange stains on. 5: I had to clean the toilet before using! I checked out early due to a family situation, but wouldnt have stayed anyway. 6: Haven't received my deposit back yet, STAY CLEAR terrible "hotel"

Nice little hotel only problem doesn’t look like the staff can make beds, I asked the lady was this made she said yes.. but my bed looked looked like was slept in, I told the reception lady she wasn’t interested either

Arrived here to find my room had been overbooked by the referral site I used. Staff at Podworks could not have been more helpful even though the error was not their fault at all. Very polite, friendly and kind. They ended up offering me an apartment at the Printworks next door, which was great. I can't comment on the rooms at the Podworks as I didn't stay there in the end, but the Printworks was clean and although basic, it was absolutely fine for a short stay and had everything I needed. It's a bit noisy when people come and go but the location is really good and I would stay again
