Barbara Studios & Apartments

Fantastic place to stay. Erato and her family are brilliant hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We were there with friends, and were given rooms next to each other. The weather was great during our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance and two beaches close by.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Barbara studios. This is out 3rd visit and, as with previous visits, we were so warmly welcomed by Erato and her mother. We have booked again for later this year. This is a traditional Greek holiday - rooms are basic but clean. Svoronata is quiet with a few tavernas dotted about. A small supermarket is situated next to Barbara studios along with a taverna. We ate most nights at Milos restaurant which we regard as the best taverna in Svoronata (about 15 minute walk). This is a quiet and relaxing holiday - perfect for couples. The pool area was quiet and you can get basis snacks at the pool bar. We usually go for the same week in May and it is striking how many people return each year.

Just wow. Loved this place. Barbara, Erata and Papa have worked so hard to establish a beautiful location for a truly relaxing experience. We were there for 10 days and wished it could have been more. Lovely comfortable room with private balcony, not shared or overlooked with beautiful views. So kind and helpful. The garden areas are amazing, and stunning pool area. So clean. Shout out to the maids and maintenance also. Will definitely be back.

Perfect stay. Clean studio with massive balcony and stunning views. Pool and surrounding area spotless. Near to 3 beaches and lots of superb restaurants (Sea Salt is a must). However what makes this place is the lovely hard working family who run the place. We couldn’t have felt more welcomed and left feeling part of the family.

Barbara, Erato and Papa are some of the most hospitable and loving people I’ve ever met, absolutely lovely . They all made me feel so special, like one of the family ! I have been coming to Cephalonia since 1995 and it was my second time visiting Svoronata, it Won’t be my last, I love the area and more importantly the Island ️. Best Wishes to all the family for all of your hard work (8:00am until after midnight) and Still they All have a Big Smile on their faces for Every Single visitor ! If you are considering a visit, please visit asap, the hospitality is second to none !!! George !

We stayed here for 11 nights in September. Short transfer from the airport.Easy check in but I can understand some finding the list of do’s & don’ts a bit much upon checking in. I think the rules are pretty much standard so maybe could be just prompted to read. We had room 12. It was up 2 flights of stairs.Standard Greek appartment with everything you need. We were s/c & could make snacks etc.Absolutely spotlessly clean. We had probably one of the best views from the balcony. Bedding & towels changed regularly during our stay. We are not pool people but passing the pool daily it was very clean & plenty of sunbeds available. We visited the bar most days for drinks or food & the owners & their daughter were very friendly. Beaches are a little walk away. 3 we visited are lovely & had plenty sunbeds available. Small shop next door, bigger one ten minutes walk. Staff in the shops are very friendly & sell everything you could want, There are some lovely restaurants nearby & more a short walk away. We would definitely recommend booking the Dias Beekeeping tour. Absolutely fantastic,interesting experience. We also walked to the Sarris winery & had a lovely wine tasting experience. We walked or used the bus. Bus into Argostoli was every 2 hours due to moving to low season. Definitely worth visiting. With a car you could do so much more. We would definitely return but probably a week earlier as some restaurants started reducing their hours towards the end of our holiday. We would say these apartments are definitely more suitable for couples/adults. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
