Santa Justa 24 Lisbon Downtown

My family and I spent wonderful days in Lisbon. The apartment that hosted us was strategic for its location, fantastic for the care of the interiors and functional for the reception of 6 people. We were assisted for every need with kindness and availability. I highly recommend Santa Justa 24

I aim to give a fair review. This place is set in a great location, very central and walkable to everything and as it is an apartment it is fairly spacious for the money spent. Those are the positives about this place. Below is a list of things that travellers should be aware of before booking. - First of all this is marketed as a 4 star experience. It is definitely no where near 4 stars. It is ran like a very, very poorly ran Airbnb. The check in experience was ridiculously complicated. - We booked the luxury penthouse apartment and the elevator was broken the entire duration of our trip. The property made no attempts to expedite fixing it and we had an injured person with stair climbing issues in our party. So we had to trudge up and down 5 flights of stairs to get in and out. The property management made no attempts at compensating us for this. They claim they advertise that this place has no elevator. They do no such thing so watch out. - Additionally, they charge city taxes and cleaning fees payable at the property, this in itself is fine but they demanded payment in cash. We did not bring cash with us because these days you can have a grand ol' time travelling with just your credit card. So they made us tredge across a hilly city, with an injury, just so they could be paid in cash. - The place was dusty with bad smell coming from the plumbing system - The shower nozzle is too low on the wall and the switch to the rainfall showerhead was broken. When we reported this and requested for this to be fixed the property MANAGER cited that all things were inspected prior to our arrival and all things were fine so therefore they could not send in a technician. *** kind of customer service is that? We had to be half cold in the shower because the shower head was situated too low - they also do not provide fresh towels daily -- and they claim themselves to be a 4 star experience? - there is not enough light in the living room spacez everything is too dark, your eyes will be strained - and finally, two of the supporting legs of the bed gave way after I merely sat down on the bed... Absolutely ridiculous. Book at your own discretion and expect a 2-star motel quality experience.

Excellent apartment. Very comfortable and clean. Lift very convenient and provided a cot for our baby. Brilliant location and service from the staff. The communication before our stay and the help with organising our transfer from the airport was very good.
