Charming historic stay! The Commodore Hotel in Linden, TN, is a hidden gem. Our room was cozy and beautifully restored with all the modern amenities. We loved the friendly staff and the live music at the café – it made for a perfect night out. The local area offers great outdoor activities, and the hotel’s unique character adds to the experience. Highly recommend for a memorable getaway! We just made reservations for April.

This summer, we had the pleasure of staying at the Commodore Hotel in Linden, Tennessee, and it was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. The highlight was the night kayaking adventure—if you haven’t tried it, it’s a must-do! Paddling under the stars in the peaceful, quiet waters was magical, and the best part? No crowds, just us and the stunning scenery. The hotel itself was charming and comfortable, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. We can’t recommend the Commodore Hotel and its unique experiences enough. We’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely love this cute little hotel in the charming town of Linden, TN! The Commodore Hotel is cozy and full of character, and the dinner was fantastic. Live music made for a memorable evening, and the drinks from the speakeasy bar were a perfect touch. Can’t wait to visit again!

arrived Saturday November 9th after riding motorcycles in the rain for hours. We were wet cold just miserable. The Manager, sorry don't have his name went out of his way to help us. Asked about food and maybe a drink, he first said it was closed but he went to ask the staff. The Staff stayed past their going home time. Made dinner and opened the bar with some outstanding drinks. I can not thank the staff of the Commodore enough for the above and beyond service. The next day the manger dried our wet clothes. Just simply outstanding service we will return.

This was are second time to stay here. We understand this is an older building that has been updated ( outstanding job on the renovation), but the water pressure was very low in room. The hotel offers a great dinner options on Friday and the bar drinks are good, but there was only one bar tender ( she was also the waitress on the bar side) to cover the bar and restaurant and she was overwhelmed as the evening went on. We will stay again but in another room.

This is simply an old hotel with very limited staff. Had to look for someone at check in and out. Continental breakfast had no staff. 3 rooms connected to the same heat/air unit and all had to agree on whether it was on heat or air. Was told I was getting a AAA discount. Never got it as the only receipt they would give you was by email and it only had the total charge.

Spent three nights here while attending a family reunion nearby. This part of the world is not a big tourist destination, so decent hotels have traditionally been few and far between. The Commodore is much better than decent: it's a loving rehab of a historic property, with very friendly owners and staff. They took care of our large group with aplomb. Dinner was excellent (although restaurant hours are quite limited) and the Speakeasy was fun. Room was very large and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are anywhere near the area.
