I'm quite disappointed with this hotel and won't be returning. After a delayed flight, we arrived late and were tired, so I didn't have the energy to argue, but I was immediately unimpressed with the room. Considering we paid £3.3k for a week at the end of August, I expected a much better standard. On the positive side, the food at the restaurant and beach buffet, including pizza, ice cream, crepes, and cakes, was very good. The cocktails were also enjoyable, and I appreciated the use of reusable cups instead of single-use ones. The cleaning, restaurant, and bar staff were all lovely and attentive. However, the pool staff were another story – they came across as arrogant and unhelpful. They ran out of towels midday and didn’t seem to care when we asked about it. One major disappointment was the inability to secure any reservations at the speciality restaurants. I don’t see the point in offering this service if guests can’t actually use it. The pool itself was also underwhelming – it was quite small, and there wasn’t much for kids to do, with no slide or splash area nearby. The beach, however, was warm and pleasant, and we enjoyed the time we spent there. Extra points to the attendant who collected towels and ensured loungers were available for others. Overall, given the price we paid, I believe we could have found better value for money elsewhere.
