Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel

We had an incredible experience and specially with Natalia Guest relation, she was really nice with everybody. Artemis is also very kind. The hotel is clean and the swimming pools chill. Drinks good, food good, women really good /////////

Nice hotel!! 7 pools enough bars for drink... Beaches over a few meters, nice Beachclub the streetfood bar was highly rated with a la carte prepared food. Hotel is for different ages. Very nice and very kindly employee!! Just 2 things; very very small bathroom & the most important thing that need improvement; All incl Lunch & Dinner; Pls you need much more variation of food.. There were days the food was all the same each day again.. the same type of fish recipe..the same type of chicken recipe..too much pork on the grill...the variety of meat on the grill was not good. Only pork was served. Not even grilled chicken. The variety of recipes have to be improved in order to lift my total rate. However my end rate for my vacation in your hotel is a 8.5. We enjoyed every moment! I would deff recomend this hotel to anyone!!!

This is the best hotel i ever had! There are Good lady’s who help you at the recepition with all your problem. Marilena and both Natalia from the guest relation and Natalia from the reception are the best persons if you got in problem, they help you with everything and make sure you have a Good vacation. Marilena make goods cake that are delicous!

Few issues with our first room but thankfully got relocated after night 2. Ground floor room wasn't as nice as pictured online, first thing we saw was a dead cockroach on the floor and a window with no curtain so anyone walking past on the road could see in. Music from King Scorpion was loud until after 1am. Staff were very lovely and helpful but weren't able to move us any earlier. We ended up borrowing an extra sheet to cover the window. Second room was much better, although the lock wasn't very secure. Remember to pack bite cream and bug spray as I ended up with over 30 bites after two nights. I thankfully didn't get bitten quite as much once we moved rooms. Location was good with nice walks along the coast including to the touristy areas. Far away enough for it to be a bit quieter but close enough if you're interested in all of the touristy bits. Plenty of local shops and souvenir shops nearby and options for more bars nearby. Food at the main resturant got a bit samey but decent selection, not many options for vegetarians though. The A la Carte at Black Pepper was a nice touch and a lovely evening dining with a sea view. The night we went they even had some dancers come to perform which was great. Pools were alright but not too many sunbeds. As we went slighy off peak we could normally get sunbeds if we timed it right after lunch but it would likely be tougher during peak summer. Beaches nearby were nice but cost money to hire sunbeds. There was space to sit on the beach just around the corner where you didn't need to pay so we opted for that. Easy to get into Heraklion via bus stop just up the road. Takes about 30mins and plenty to do in the city. Overall a decent trip after we moved rooms but a few issues. You get what you pay for.
