The owner is very helpful and friendly. He helped us picked up our bagages heavy suitcases from car and to the car. View from the rooftop is amazing

The hotel was good and easy access to other places. The view was amazing from my room. Will come to stay here again if visit LiJiang.

Love this place! Everything is perfect. The day before I arrive, the owner helped me to check in by picking me up at north gate of ancient town. It was 2 min walking, with some steps. The room is spacious, can fit 2 people. Bed is comfortable, toilet is in good condition. Room is cleaned everyday. From this hotel, the centre if ancient town (water wheel) is only 5 min walking. There are several nearby shops for souvenir, tea, yunanan coffee, fresh fruit. For Muslim, there are several nearby halal restaurant, but you need to walk along north gate of ancient town. Pretty much 5 min walking. For those who carry luggage, be mindful there are several steps (about 2 stories) but you only require to lift your luggage during check in and check out time. You may also ask the owner to assist you with the luggage. Overall I recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to visit in Lijiang.

Hotel is near to the Lijiang Ancient town (North gate). The owner asked us to wait at the gate and he helped to carry our luggages to the hotel. Owner can speak English which is a plus point. Hotel is small and quaint. They have a rooftop overlooking the beutiful yulong mountain and the rest of the old town. They have washing machine and drying rack that you can use for free. Mind you, if you come from the north gate, there’ll be a few flight of stairs (shortest distance to the hotel). Hotel is near the water wheel with convenient stores nearby. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Mr Jack is very nice person. He always be there when we need it. He also help with our big luggage. We dont know that too many stairs in old town. its our first time but we are in the right hand. The hotel also very nice. We get the experience likes during old time and easy to walk inside the old town. We surely will suggest this hotel to our friends. Thanks again!

Hotel located inside the Lijiang Old Town (LOT), strategic for those who want to explore a LOT, this is the best location. Even at first it was quite hard to find the hotel, but the hotel staffs is really helpful and kind hearted. They are willing to come to fetch us and help to carry all the heavy luggages. Even, we checkout in the early of morning, staff still come with offer to carry out luggages. So grateful and thankfulll...I will definitely staying here if come to Lijiang again. Whoever looking for hotel to staying in Lijiang, please consider this hotel. During our stay, many Malaysians are staying here, so it feel kind of malaysian vibe somehow hihii

The hotel is inside oldtown lijiang. The host is very helpful especially Mr.Jack. He can speak english and very friendly. The hotel help me pick up my luggage from and to the ancient gate… to find this hotel, you must drop at Daiyan Huaxiang(north gate) show to taxi and taxi will drop you there.. from there you can ask hotel to pick you since taxi cannot enter oldtown and you must walk a little bit. I have very pleasant stay here the hotel is beautiful, clean and near to the halal restaurant by walk. Highly recommended to those who are looking for a budget hotel.

Inside the ancient town. Very peaceful and quiet. The location was remarkable. 5 minutes from the North Gate. Easy access for Didi rides and near the bus pick-up point to go to TLG/ Shangri-la. Near to the giant water wheel, about 10 minutes. Helpful staffs. They helped me to carry multiple bags to the hotel. Some were more than 20kgs. Heated bed. Shower was fine, good water pressure. Nothing to fault. Had a pleasant stay. I stayed out past 12am daily during my stay and it was very safe for me as a solo female traveller to walk back from the ancient town to my hotel. Cons: None. Many stairs and cobbled pathways but it was not a problem at all as my bags were handled by the staff. Perfect for a short stay.

5 star hospitality from the owner and staff, great place to stay in Lijiang old town, beautiful old Chinese style building. Highly recommended for any type of travellers. Cons: you need to stroll around the old town maze to find the hotel especially with large luggage will be quite difficult, But the staff are

Highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful hotel in terms of interior decoration and very classic. Owner who can speak English and very easy to communicate. Owner is very kind, showed halal restaurants and extra pillows and very very satisfied. Hotel can arrange transportation from train station to hotel. Strategic hotel area located in lijiang old town in the north. Loved staying here

The room is clean and spacious for 4 people. The hotel owner was very kind and helpful. He helped me booked pickup service from the railway station, waited for us at the main entrance location and helped us carry the bag. Also, its inside the ancient city, you can walk around to explore it. The only cons here was the stairs and the toilet door is not closed properly. To reach the hotel you need to go through 3 sets of stairs. Regarding the toilet door, meaning that you will smell everything from the toilet inside the room. Overall i would rate my stay at this place is 9/10.

Location is inside the Lijiang Ancient City, hard to push luggage due to stone floor, but the boss is kind enough to help us carry the luggage so it's hassle free. But it's very good to stay inside Lijiang Ancient City bcos you can hang around there until 11pm! Nearby have local eateris shop which offer valuable meals(RMB15 for porridge while other shop is selling RMB 30+-) so it's good for budget traveller to stay. The hotel is authentic local Lijiang building style, very nice when we took picture around. We also got a valuable shooting package at only RMB139 for 20 piece photos with 1 set costume + makeup. You can climb up to the highest floor to enjoy the scenery of roof top. The room is equipped with aircond (hot/cold) with hot blanket so it's very comfortable to stay. Truly amazing experience to stay in Huang Garden and travel in LiJiang!!

I love my 3 nights stay here. Clean, quiet, professional service by the host, Mr Jack. He speaks good english too. He helped us many things including booking ticket for Yulong Mountain. Next time i come to Lijiang, i will stay at the same place for sure.
