The hotel is only about 300 meters away from the nearest entrance and exit of the ancient city, Zhongyi Market (navigate to Xiangzi Convenience Store). Parking is convenient at the nearby Bailong Cultural Square, and the small courtyard provides luggage pick-up and drop off services, so you don't have to worry about dragging your luggage along the cobblestone road.
The small courtyard is adjacent to the thousand year old Zhongyi Market, with a rich variety of fruits, vegetables, morning and night markets, nearby neighbors' Po La pork ribs, slag rice noodles, Yunxue Li, cherry blossom restaurants and other specialty dining options, allowing you to fully enjoy the rich local cuisine. It is separated from Mufu (Naxi Palace) by a wall, and it is about 5 minutes' walk from the online red card punching point in the ancient city, Sifang Street and Cherry Blossom Restaurant in the ancient city, and 15 minutes' walk by water cart, so that you can feel the local customs and feel the beauty of the Old Town of Lijiang.

Really nice small cosy hotel, lovely welcome with tea, large comfy room, complementary drinks and fruit every day. Washing machine and drying area available. They collect you from the old city entrance and take your bags over the cobbles in a trolley. Helped arranging trips for us to Leaping Tiger Gorge and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I wasn't such a fan of the voice controlled curtains or electronic toilet though.

This accommodation had to be the best we’ve stayed in, in our 2 week trip in Yunnan. The rooms were spacious, clean, designed beautifully, it was such a plus to have an automatic toilet seat too! The distance to the main area of the old town was also very nearby, 9 min walk to the night market even. Despite being so close, the area was quiet and serene.
Best of all was the ladies who managed the accommodation. We were a group of four Singaporeans who booked 3 rooms, and they made us feel so welcomed here. Without fail, the 3 days we stayed was such a highlight because of the ladies. They were so kind in sharing, so helpful, and always giving us suggestions on things to do and where to eat! They helped us to book a live bar, tickets to Qian Gu Qing show, transport to Shangrila. Our plans were seamless because of them. We loved staying here so much and would 100% recommend this accommodation.
As first time travellers to Lijiang, we really appreciated their hospitality, and willingness to share their local recommendations (which I must say, weren’t just the usual tourist traps, but truly personal recommendations!).
ALSO, the outdoor area of the accommodation where the courtyard is, is so so lovely!!! Perfect for chilling out with friends and family, it is so cosy and quiet.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, well equipped with facilities and convenience to look for. The staff takes a good care of me during my stay in LJG. She can speak english and she knows a lot in Lijiang attractions and willing to help planning for touring around with the services. I am impressed the hospitality of this place, recommended !

This is one of the most strategic hotels within the ancient city. The room is installed with smart device and control. The toilet seat is also the modern type that is as good as those in Japan. Room is big and very comfortable. The staff, Xiao Chen, is extremely helpful. He also constantly checked on us to make sure things were working smoothly. If you are looking for day tour, he is the guy you must check with. If I am to visit Lijiang again, this is the hotel I will definitely go for.

The hotel is right in the middle of shops selling food stuff and restaurants which are always packefd all day!! We tried those which hv traditional food, ie noodles in huge bowls, glutenous rice in bamboo, spicy vege etc. At night, street food line the narrow roads, with aroma and smoke from bbq meat & pork sausages, fried cheese crepes. Luckily, this hotel has a washing machine, else people might assume I use bbq deodorant!
Staff (all family members) went out of their way to ensure we were comfy. We stayed 2 days, then stayed 1 more day after our Shangrila trip. Lazy to move our big luggages to a new hotel, hahaha..

Beautiful homestay in the heart of Lijiang old town. Frida and her family were very welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful. Frida speaks excellent english, which is a rarity and nice break from the google translate conversations. She was super helpful in helping me get to Tiger Leaping Gorge and for dinner recommendations around town. The rooms are really well decorated and come with thoughtful snack packages. There are 3 friendly cats on the premises too that are happy for pets and play time. The only things to note are that you should reach out to Frida ahead of arriving so that she can help you bring your suitcases to the homestay as it's pedestrian only in the old town and a 5-minute walk over cobble-stone streets. And the room I had doesn't have A/C so it might be quite warm in the summer. It was warmish for me in mid-May. But I would definitely stay here again if I was ever lucky enough to be back in Lijiang!
