I had an exceptional stay at Juhe Guesthouse in Lijiang’s Old Town. The location is perfect—nestled in a tranquil area yet just a short walk to the vibrant Sifang Street and other attractions. Laoban is very helpful and hospitality. Strongly recommend for those who don’t want to suffer from noisy crowds.

Amazing host and service! Highly recommend if you want to stay in 丽江古镇 and not picky as it's more like a local guesthouse style. Host is super friendly, loves to drink tea and was v helpful in arranging our plans (esp last min ones). Has a fluffy dog on premise as well. Also, gave us a set of local flower biscuits bc we were chatting about it. Loved the laid-back vibes of the place + the host and can't wait to be back :)

Overall experience the room was spacious. Only this, they provide disposable towel. Owner provide tea during my stay. However, language barrier are great but need to communicate via weechat for anything.

We stayed 3 nights and we liked it because the 1- hotel close to main road 2- owner provide transport luggage 3- hotel nice and clean 4- owner very helpful 5- excellent service

The host is very good and friendly. Also helped us to rush toward the train station, as we late get ready.

Place is clean. Got a free upgrade. But im not sure why we are given disposable towel instead of normal towel.

The hotel was located inside Lijiang Ancient Town which is one of the most popular tourist spots in the city of Lijiang. The Hotel Manager Mr Wang Linfeng was very very helpful. Since the hotel was located inside the ancient town and vehicles were not allowed inside, all the luggage’s had to be hand carried or with the help of a porter available at the entry of the street. Mr Wang made sure we got parking spots on all three days when we were there and also luggages were taken to the hotel time to time. I would like to give a special mention for the Service which Mr Wang provided. He’s indeed an asset to the hotel. Keep up the good work. 🫰🏼

Amazing hospitality + super convenient location.  They provide complimentary services such as luggage pickup/ drop off and checking in was seamless. The host helped with all the heavy lifting and very much reachable on WeChat. Location is superb as you don’t get all the noise, yet easily accessible to all the main spots of the town. The room also had all necessary amenities(disposable ones + heated linen blanket perfect for the cold weather), and it was spacious + clean. Overall, they were super attentive + responsive to our requests, going beyond in making sure that we are comfortable and well settled. The host himself also treated us with tea testing and we had a pleasant conversation. They also provided food + attraction recommendations as well as arranging a driver for our next destination in Yunnan, making our travel hassle free.  Great service, great people, highly recommended!!

I had a great experience at Juhe Guesthouse. The owner was friendly and warm to us - he was responsive whenever we needed advice. He really took care of us and even helped us get medicine when we fell sick after coming back from Yulong Snow Mountain. Would recommend Juhe Guesthouse for a budget and reliable stay.

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at Juhe Inn and couldn’t have been more impressed! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I was warmly greeted with a complimentary welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep in ages. I loved the attention to detail, from the quality linens to the thoughtful amenities provided. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding. I enjoyed the outdoor which was relaxing and never too crowded. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure I was having a great time. They offered fantastic recommendations for local attractions and even helped arrange transportation, making my stay seamless and stress-free. The location of the hotel was also perfect – close enough to all the main attractions, yet quiet and peaceful, allowing for a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend Juhe Inn or Juge Guesthouse to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming place to stay. I can’t wait to return and experience their wonderful hospitality again!

Never felt so satisfied with any other hotel booking than this one at Juhe guesthouse (lijiang mufu). We rated the service 100 out of 5 😆. Beautiful traditional local home, cozy vibes, quiet surroundings but convenient, easy access to all main spots of the town. The room for group with 3 separated beds, very spacious, clean and equipped with necessary amenities, water, heating system…. Eventhough we booked it 2-3 days in advance, the price was surprisingly good. There were complimentary bonus services such as Luggages pickup/drop off from the main road, rose cake and tea tasting with the host himeself, traditional costume… moreover both the hosts were really really warm, they even offerred meal when possible. They supported us from A to Z with all our requests (transport, sightseeing/ specialty recommendations…) which was beyond expectation. If you are lucky enough, the host could even guide you around and shared the best information about the old town. Absolutely the best! Will definitely come back if we have chance.
