The stay at Moro Ma Doto was excellent! Santi and the crew were exceptional, made our transit to and from Morotai a breeze. The food was the best, local dishes, fresh seafood and freshly grown vegetables from the Moro Garden was some of the best and tastiest foods I’ve eaten whilst travelling, highly recommend staying at Moro Ma Doto

Looking for the road less traveled to paradise on earth? You’ll find it here. From the moment we landed at the airport, it felt like home. Santi and Gusti greeted us with warm smiles, fresh coconut water, and all the good vibes. This dreamy spot sits right in front of the ocean, perfect for surfers and nature lovers like us who prefer discovering hidden gems over crowded tourist traps. The food? Made with so much love you can taste it, and going full board is a must since nearby restaurants are scarce. The staff? Pure magic—always kind, always helpful, and they somehow made us feel like family. They even roped us into a beach volleyball match (no regrets there!). Santi went above and beyond, arranging our transfer back to Daruba safely for our next adventure. Shoutout to Santi and the entire Moro Ma Doto crew for creating something truly special. You’re not just running a resort—you’re building a cultural treasure. The cherry on top of our stay? A cooking class with Santi, where I learned to make Soto Ayam, a traditional Indonesian dish. If paradise comes with this much warmth, hospitality, and great food, we’re already planning our return trip. Wishing you all the success in the world—keep doing what you’re doing! Moro ma doto e tutto il suo staff ci hanno fatto sentire a casa appena arrivati! Sono stati gentilissimi e la location è mozzafiato, un vero rifugio in mezzo alla giungla dotato di tutti i comfort. Consigliato sia per lunghi soggiorni, che per spezzare il lungo viaggio in nord maluku e coccolarsi per qualche giorno prima di riprendere il viaggio. Un grazie particolare a Santi, inesauribile fonte di consigli per destreggiarsi tra gli inconvenienti di un viaggio a Morotai!
