I recently stayed at a small designer hotel that truly embodies the essence of a boutique experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the tasteful design of the rooms, which harmonized beautifully with the old wooden architecture. The cleanliness of the rooms also exceeded my expectations. However, my overall positive impression was significantly marred by the attitude and incompetence of the hotel staff. One particularly frustrating incident occurred right after my checkout. The receptionist had not fully recorded my departure in the system, leading to a call after 12:00 PM that day. The staff member inquired about my checkout plans, and despite my explanation of the situation, they seemed unable to comprehend it fully and insisted that I had not yet checked out. They proceeded to explain how the checkout process should work, even though I had already completed it. In summary, while the hotel offered a fantastic location, beautiful design, and excellent cleanliness, the poor attitude of the staff left me unwilling to return.
