Our family spent 3 nights here. It was very nice that we can do some hiking til noon, and then relax in the SPA in the afternoon. We love the nice SPA facilities, and the hot spring is very nice with the snowy mountain in the back drop. The hotel is located in prime location with 1 mins from the bus station.

Excellent stay. Friendly staff at check-in, and the restaurant staff was congenial and attentive to details. We purchased the half-board option, which was a wise choice. The breakfast buffet had several choices -- for the fitness oriented person, as well as the person who wants to have a breakfast that will last the full cay. Evening dinners were 4 courses, and one has a selection of three different dinner options. These are normally made at the end of the breakfast seating.

I stayed for four nights over Xmas and New Year with a friend. I had stayed here several times before but the service on this occasion fell below standard. To start with the positives - impeccably clean as always, great little spa and good breakfast. All of those reasons I will probably stay again. The negatives that really have me questioning that - the service. Before I arrived I had sent an email requesting half board for 2 nights. I got a reply to state that a table had been reserved. When I arrived to dinner I was told that was wrong and I had to pay (a much higher) full price for the dinner as the receptionist made a mistake and I had to have half board for the full 4 nights (which I couldn’t as I had plans for New Year’s Eve). As a result I was made to pay Swiss restaurant prices for a half board price quality meal that was absolutely not worth Swiss restaurants prices while the other guests ate exactly the same meal for the half board price. No attempt whatsoever to resolve the issue - really not ok and unfair. The spa facilities are great - the behaviour of some of the very young children in them (screaming, clambering over people, wearing nappies in the jacuzzi) certainly is not. Given this is a former physiotherapy hotel they really ought to have a minimum age limit - at least 10 or 12 as it frankly just ruins everyone’s enjoyment. Hopefully they can resolve these issues in future.

Very good accommodations and great overall hotel installations and facilities. Indoor swimming pool and saunas plus outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. Very nice breakfast variety and quality. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb location right in the center of Leukerbad.

Awesome stay, totally adapted to our family (3 kids 4-6-8 yo), beds are good, rooms are quiet, breakfast is fantastic and spa very relaxing. Staff all very friendly, we strongly recommend. Spa is more for adults but our kids enjoyed and (I hope) behaved well enough to not disturb the other guests.

Stayed for one night with family as a last minute decision to stay in Leukerbad overnight. Great location in heart of town, but I wouldn't return due to a couple of frustrations. What we loved: The location of the hotel is superb, right in the heart of Leukerbad, incredible views and with walking access to everything we wanted to do when there. There was a party right outside the hotel in the centre of town which went on until 3am which shows how central this is (not the hotels fault)! The spa facilities were also great, incredibly clean and easy to use. If you are travelling with children though I recommend you choose an alternative hotel with a bigger traditional pool which are available in Leukerbad. Finally, the buffet breakfast was superb on site. What we disliked: Firstly, we are not at all demanding with hotel stays but there were a few things I wouldn't expect in a hotel that is CHF400 per night. 1: The cleanliness of the room was not great. On arrival we dropped a phone under the bed and when we looked to get it out there was a huge amount of dust and dirt there. This was the same under the sofa bed in the lounge too. 2: We asked whether we could have a couple of additional sachets of coffee and creamer given we had traveled hours to get there and wanted another coffee in the room and were told no! This surprised me and so we had to head out to get a drink! 3. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. This region of Switzerland gets really hot in the summer and overnight, even though temperature was only moderately warm the rooms were sweltering and kids struggled to sleep.
