Premier Inn Letchworth Garden City

We like to drop in to Letchworth for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We cannot fault the staff in particular Pete, Leanne, Anne and Curtis. Fantastic service and breakfast cooked to perfection. 9 times out of 10 we don't even need to ask for the vegetarian option as some one has already put our order in for us. Staff always go out of their way to make sure we are seated even when really busy. A friendly bunch, brilliant with the kids and the reason we return week after week.

I have visited this hotel on a number of occasions and would thoroughly recommend it. The Duty Manager Pete is knowledgeable, helpful and amenable and always ready to help in any way and goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. In fact all members of the team are friendly and helpful and it is a well run hotel. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast is always of a high quality and the poached eggs are cooked to perfection so compliments to the lady who was cooking last week! Letchworth itself is a good base to explore the area and the nearby towns. The train station is just a few minutes walk away and with frequent trains into London and Cambridge it’s easy to travel around the area. I have stayed here twice in six months. Once with family last October and again now. They would get 5 stars for the accommodation, basic, comfy and clean and the the fair price. I was hoping the Wifi had improved since last visit but alas the Wifi is so slow it is basically useless. Hotel and staff get five stars but Wifi gets zero.

We regularly use this hotel as my daughter attends a musical theatre associates close by once a month. We look forward to our stays as the staff are always incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. All areas within the hotel are incredibly well maintained and clean. It is just a 5 min walk from Letchworth train station from where London Kings Cross Station can be reached easily and quickly. Letchworth Garden City is a lovely quiet and gentle town with lots of eateries and places to grab a coffee and watch the world go by. A really relaxing stay. Highly recommend!!!!

The hotel is clean and nicely laid out. There is comfortable seating in foyer area with coffee available. The hotel itself is very central to the local shops and facilities. Letchworth is a pretty garden city with quite a vibrant shopping experience.

We stayed at the PI, Letchworth from Feb 5th to Feb 15th. Our stay was longer than anticipated due to a family trauma. The staff went over and above to support and accommodate us during this stressful time. (Aileen and Pete in particular). Kindness and sympathy were shown in abundance.
