Hotel Mont Vallon

No one came to serve us, we waited 20 minutes to get our beers. Don't bother, just walk 30 m further and the service will be there. We got our drinks within five minutes and the service was friendly. We will definitely come here again. La terrasse👍

Everything was fine but the heating in rooms would be better. Electric radiator size was not enough compared the size of the room. In addition, we would feel safer if there was smoke detector and/or springler system in rooms.

On first sight it is just a right 4-star hotel in the Alps But after a few days you realise everithig was perfect, no failures at all. This is not good luck from our side it is excellent care from the hotel staff. So well done you are not aware they are constantly trying to provide a perfect service

This hotel is a gem, nestled beside several key ski points taking you towards Courchevel, Val Thorens or within the Meribel valley. The outstanding and helpful staff made the already enjoyable stay even better. Very nice facilities and consistent offering for breakfast. Definitely consider for your next ski trip or just to enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Perfect location, very friendly, splendid valet service. Missed a charging point for electric car. We did not get a room with vue on the mountain which we paid for, even not after asking for it, nor a refund. Hotel is dated, needs renovation. Ski lockers dated but did their job. We did not like the spa, it was very dated and small. Didn’t bother to check the pool after checking the spa. Toilet paper and tissues weren’t filled by cleaning the room. Very expensive for the age of the hotel.

We stayed for 6 days at the Hotel Mont Valllon in 2 Duplex rooms, which were very spacious with the double bed on the mezzanine. The rooms were cozy, comfortable with all the necessary amenities and warm although a bit dated. However, the bathroom was renovated. The common sitting area adjacent to the bar was very cozy and equipped with a lot comfortable sofas and armchairs around a fireplace. The bar served excellently prepared drinks. Breakfast and dinner was very satisfactory and was served in the main restaurant, Le Chalet. Half board dinner menu was very tasty, prepared with a lot of local products, and more than enough. At the end there was always a French cheese and dessert buffet. The other restaurant, L'Authentic was a simple Brasserie serving non-stop Savouyard specialties inside by the fireplace or outside on a terrace overlooking the ski slopes. The Wellness area included a swimming pool, a gym, sauna and hamam and a squash court (!). The equipment was adequate but also a bit dated. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, however not always speaking English. Snowstone is the hotel's own Ski-shop with excellent and very friendly staff always there to solve issues with ski equipment and to give tips. Hôtel Mont Vallon is a superb ski-in ski-out hotel in best location and value for money compared to nearby hotels. The 1980's style should not be seen negatively and has its own charm.
