Upon check in there was confusion with our multiple reservations. We had a group of 9. We did not find the front desk agent that greeted us to be friendly. And then we were told that none of the rooms had hot water, which was not specified when we booked online via booking. In addition, the room that we stayed in # 11, had something living in the ceiling (we think it was a bat), plus there was plastic and cardboard taped to the ceiling. Another thing to point out is that the AC mini split unit in that room is not adequate for the size of the room and the fact that it has vaulted ceilings. So during the day it is hot and does not cool down much until night time. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and it’s hard to sleep because the next-door neighbors have multiple dogs barking all night. This is a very basic hotel, but I guess people expect less since you’re paying less, however maintenance should be the most basic thing in any hotel. The descriptions of the rooms should also be more clear. (For example, we had booked multiple rooms thinking they all had AC. But not all of the rooms in the hotel have AC and it was not mentioned that some rooms did not have AC so we had to switch at time of check-in.). This hotel could be nice, but it needs much better attention to detail.
