Badgers Mount Hotel

Great hotel. Booked very last minute. Staff all friendly & helpful. Room was huge, with everything you need. A comfy bed, tv, kettle etc and nice big shower too Ate here for dinner and breakfast. Food was hot & tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Our family came here on Christmas day (2024), and we were not disappointed! We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who offered to take our coats, and we were shown through to the dining room. There were welcome drinks upon arrival of either warm mulled wine or a non alcohol drink (maybe an option of prosecco would be nice). It wasn't quite time for our table yet so we enjoyed having a drink in the bar before our meal, and everywhere looked beautifully festive including the staff who were all lovely, very polite, and professional. Once it was time for the table we were shown through to the marquee that looked so magical like a winter wonderland with a stunning tree, perfectly dressed tables, lights above/decor, Christmas music playing, and a sparkly Xmas cracker for each guest. The food was absolutely AMAZING! We had the vegetarian options, and thoroughly enjoyed every course! 😋 the only minor change would be to have vegetarian gravy with our delicious main meal. Our other family members also really enjoyed their meal options including a traditional roast dinner. The mince pies and the other sweet treats at the end to finish the meal was also a lovely touch! During our fabulous dining experience, we were also surprised with a visit from Santa that was enjoyed by both the adults and younger guests. We had a brilliant time from start to finish, and it really was the Christmas we had wished for. We ate in the restaurant last night and it was exceptional. Presentation of food the choices and the staff will definitely be going back. Very modern and clean will recommend to friends and family ideal for that special occasion 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I took my son for his birthday, it was the worst meal I have ever had,I had the salmon which arrived luke warm not with the vegatables that where annouced on the menu,we where seated in the area where weddings where held !!!! not in the dining area ???? next to a speaker with loud music playing?my sons steak was over cooked ,we where served by young people who had no idea abour service,it was the most awful experience and very disappointing as the photos on their website are totally untrue,

We had the great pleasure of staying with you on Thursday 12th September and just wanted to write a quick note to thank the staff who looked after us so well during our visit. We arrived on our motorbikes and were trying to work out where to park them when James came running out to greet us. He very kindly showed us where to park the bikes out of the way so that they would be safely out of sight. We were then checked in to our excellent room (11) by the delightful Aaliyah. We ate in the restaurant that evening and were extremely impressed by the quality and value of the food, the burger sauce is to die for, and were served perfectly by James and Aaliyah. We would like to thank you all for a wonderful stay, will definitely return in the future, and let you know that both James and Aaliyah are a real credit to your hotel.

Having visited Badgers Mount a number of times previously, we decided to book the venue for Sunday lunch to celebrate an 80th birthday. As the weather was kind to us, we were able to have pre-meal drinks outside by the pool, where our orders were taken, so no rush. Being a party of ten, we chose a variety of options from the menu and everyone was delighted with the outstanding food. We were shown to a great table in the marquee, with views of the countryside. Service was impeccable so a big thank you to all of the staff. A special family get together and more memories made. Highly recommend.
