It is a very beautiful hotel with lots of history. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a view across the square. There was a problem during my stay but the front of House Manager Dean who is not only funny, friendly and brilliant sorted it swiftly and efficiently for me. I will definately be staying again.

Very nice location and friendly staff, lifts are a bit slow though

Although very good location at Leeds Centre, the hotel does require some upgrade. The reception carpet was rotten a bit, the room heating doesn't work been calling for electric heater several times until I finally got it just before my sleep.

Excellent location for Leeds train station, fantastic bar and food.

We stayed in this hotel just after our wedding, it’s very obvious the hotel isn’t what it used to be. First there was no direct entrance to the hotel as it was closed due to road works. We were not aware of this despite booking in advance, the hotel phone number was not working and the phone in our room was not even connected. So I had to wait in the car in a side street in my bridal dress until we could figure out a way to get to the hotel. Something that was supposed to be a smooth check in was very time consuming. We tried calling them directly and their phone wasn’t working, staff all seemed to have no idea what was going on with the phone as they all had different stories. When my husband went to check in they were insistent we needed to pay even though we already paid online? The girl dealing with him at first was very rude and it wasn’t until her manager got there that they realized we had prepaid. The location is great there’s an exit straight into the train station, but I would give this a 3 star at most. Not worth the high price.

A step back in time experience with a modern twist. Absolutely beautiful hotel, fantastic staff and can’t wait to go back there again!

Beauitful hotel, very clean. The room was big and clean. The facilities provided are everything you can ask for. Brilliant location very central to city centre. Excellent location to train station. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was very tasty. Lots of selection from conitendal to hot food. Would highly recommend paying the extra to stay at The Queens.

Fabulous stay. This is my second time. Location is marvellous and the staff are fantastic. The coffee in the cafe is lovely couldn't get enough of it and the girl servicing top marks. Looking forward to the next stay

Lovely hotel accessible from the train station, perfect location I have to stay. Housekeeping was not perfect I will come back to this hotel for the location. Front desk staff and concierge were helpful and efficient.

Deeply disappointed

The hotel is located just next to the station which makes it very convenient for travellers. I had booked the city view room and hence it was a good view from the windows too and I was able to see the Christmas Market/ City Square from my room. Although the location is superb, and the hotel looks nice too no doubt. I feel that it could still add some amenities like a swimming pool or other things too.

I had wanted to stay in this hotel since I was a kid, so I was looking forward to a bit of comparative luxury after only ever using Travelodges and B&Bs. It may be my funny coloured hair and tattoos, but the security asked to see my room key repeatedly throughout our one night stay. Went outside to pick up some shopping- show keycard. Went to reception with an enquiry- show keycard. Popped outside briefly- show keycard. Return from night out, show keycard to enter hotel, show it to approach the lift, and again whilst waiting for lift. It was worse than Manchester airport security and made me feel very unwelcome. Which was a shame, as check in was lovely and we were given a room with a bath as requested, so I had high hopes. I won't bother in future, and will stay at a Travelodge, as it's clearly more my level

We had a "cosy double" which was cheaper than standard double. I wasn't expecting anything great on a budget but was pleasantly surprised. Fab view and decent sized and very comfortable bed. Everything was great, friendly staff, and access straight from Leeds Railway station concourse which for me with limited mobility was a godsend. Lovely art deco theme. We didn't have breakfast, a bit expensive at £15 especially with so many eateries close by.
