Hyatt Place Leeds

Friendly staff. The hotel is pretty new, still teething, but I'm sure they will pick up pretty soon. Brilliant location. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous find right next to Leeds station …. We came over from York to go and see Alfie Boe and Michael Ball at the Leeds Direct Arena ! We got a Warm welcome at the Hyatt beautiful room … plenty of choice for breakfast staff very very polite n helpful Definitely recommend and will stay again Location is perfect to walk into Leeds city centre !

We had a pleasant and quiet stay. There were some issues with a badly designed disability room so not ideal. The hotel is badly placed for access to the city centre and railway station because of the roadworks taking place but perhaps once they are complete it will be better. Sadly not recommended for disabled until they are finished

Great new hotel in Leeds CC. Lovely rooms and a roof top specialist restaurant that is very unlike a normal hotel restaurant (you wouldn't know you were in a hotel). Staff were excellent - very enthusiastic and professional. Overall a top experience and would highly recommend trying it.

Absolutely brilliant stay here, check in was swift and well handled, our room was ready despite us being quite early. Large room, king size bed was very comfortable, temperature just right. Very clean, felt like we were the first people to stay in the room. Room had a safe, fridge, ironing board and iron (in a drawer), good hanging space and plenty of hangers. Lovely bathroom, shower was perfect and the towels are large!!! Went down for breakfast at 8am, plenty of tables available at that time ;-) Large selection of food from a good continental section, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and pastries, and plenty of choice in the hot section. Yes the cast iron lids are heavy, I lifted them while husband dished up the food. He also said it was one of the tastiest cooked breakfasts he's had in a hotel. 3 coffee machines, no queues at all. The staff very attentive and quick to clear empty plates away. When we were checking out at 9.50am there were crowds of people heading to breakfast. More fool them, that's when the queues and food issues may occur. We didn't use the gym but would possibly in a future stay. Rooftop bar is amazing with fabulous views across the city and beyond. Location was ideal, just a few minutes walk from the train station. We explored the south side in the afternoon and found some fabulous bars and restaurants away from the shopping crowds. Check out was just as painless, our luggage was stored for us until we needed to head back to the train station. Every member of staff we dealt with were professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here and we would love to go back.
