The entrance to the hotel is good, the parking area is spacious, the garden is spacious and nice, the rooms are old, smelly and the bathroom is not very clean, the breakfast is ok, the garden area & room decoration are good for selfies.

Friendly, accommodating staff, willing to help with a smile. The bed was large and very comfortable and I like the colour and the decor in the room.

This resort is very nice and comfortable, we can find many huge trees. This resort is good place for healing.

The hotel garden was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and unusable, and the bathroom smelled of sewage, which was a bit unpleasant.

This is my first visit to Kayu Arum after 9 years of break. My previous visit was back in 2015. And unlike the previous visit, where I would only stay for one night, to maximize the experience, I decided to spend 2 nights here. Overall, it's a satisfactory experience, although the hotel must do some improvements in several fields. The room that I chose was the standard room which has a classic feel, with modern amenities. What I like most about this hotel is the serene courtyard garden which truly gave guests from the cacophony of the outside world. I also like the complimentary welcome massage. Although it only lasted for 10 minutes, it's one of the best massages I've ever had. However, on my second morning, I noticed something that was out of place. Apparently, they played the music through the loudspeaker in the garden. And the chosen genre was pop-rock which is really out of place for the idyllic setting of the resort garden. It really ruined the peaceful of the place. They should either playing Javanese Gamelan music, or maybe better if no music at all like on my first morning in here! And the placement of the toilet in the shower room is too close to the wall, which makes using them rather awkward. Also, if possible the opening hours of the massage service should be extended by around 8 pm. We often returned back to the hotel tired and wanting to have a massage, only to be told that they were already closed. It's disappointing actually. Lastly, may I suggest a revision of the breakfast menu? I notice that the menu isn't much different than my previous visit 9 years before.

If you're looking for a place where peace meets nature, this hotel is a must-try visit. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always attentive and friendly, yet giving us the space to relax. Came here for attending Cousin Wedding. Special Mention to Mba Yanti (FOM) and Pak Teguh for well attention for our family at the property. The location is a serene escape from the bustle of daily life, surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil landscapes. Whether it’s waking up to the sound of birds or enjoying a quiet walk through the nearby trails, the connection to nature here is undeniable. The rooms are, blending comfort with heritage simplicity with rays of sunshine, offering the perfect environment to unwind. Sitting on the spa terrace, sipping wedang uwuh, and taking in the fresh air was one of the highlights of my stay.

Very nice place with a big beautiful garden outside busy Salatiga. It is a good place to stay to visit te centre. Breakfast and dinner are good. There are a lo of place to sit. The spa is very beautiful, so a massage in the spa will be recommended.

Very comfortable and beautiful resort. It’s surrounded with nature, flowers and even cute frogs. The room was big and very nice. The service was fantastic! With a free 10-min welcome massage we sadly couldnt use because of our short stay, and wonderful service at the hotel restaurant. Vegetarion options are available! I did use the hotel gym, which was one of the best gyms ive had in a hotel. The pool was lovely as well. Would absolutely recommend this place!
