Best Western Plus Leamington Hotel Conference Centre

We stayed for 2 nights... Our room had a bad smell. Rug was filthy and ripped by door. Our patio door lock did not work so had that repaired. Requested a cot in room, had to go back to front desk to ask for one. There was 3 towels 2 face clothes 2 hand towels for 4 people. The halls are very run down. The hotel looks like it has not been very well kept. The pool area had chunks of cement missing and hurt when you stepped around it as there were loose pieces laying around. The windows in pool area need to be cleaned or replaced. Very nasty looking. I would not go back again and I told them this. No one asked why or really cared. So sad. The staff were all amazing and doing their best. I took lots of pictures of the conditions but can't find anywhere to upload them on this review. For what we paid it was Not worth it. 4 out of 5 - FOR THE AREA. It is not by all means a 4-star hotel. It is a decent place to stay overnight - do not expect turn down service and 500 thread count sheets... If you have kids, it's a cool place with the pool and the play area. The rooms are clean and functional. If you want quiet time early in the evening and later in the morning, request a room with outside view - because a room with view on the inside courtyard can get VERY noisy witih kids from 8am to 10pm. Avoid the restaurant in the hotel at any cost; the food is horrendous and I mean, probably the worst we ever had.

If you have never gone to Leamington, Ontario, on the shores of Lake Erie, you need to check out the area. Stay at the Best Western Hotel & Conference Center and bring the whole family to experience the swimming pool with the giant slide, or let them run wild in the kid's play area adjacent to your room on the atrium level . Enjoy a great breakfast or dinner at the onsite restaurant, and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed the night after spending the day on Pelee Island. Relaxed before the drive home the next day. The room was comfortable and met our needs. They do have a restaurant, no continental breakfast but the breakfast in the morning was reasonably priced. $5 for 2 eggs, bacon and a pancake. It was tasty and filling. Would stay here again if we travel to Pelee Island next year.

Was a fair place to stay. Room was okay but bed seemed damp all the time. the internet did not work very well. Breakfast horrible. Maybe eat somewhere else. This BW does not include breakfast

Clean rooms. We had an exterior patio room so it was great to just be able to walk straight outside. The atrium was amazing, so much for the kids to do. The pool was fine but slides were closed and it turns out they only allow children 30-48" on them anyway. The location so close to Point Pelee is amazing. There is a beautiful field behind and to the side of the motel. A large gathering was picnicking back there. The evening staff was very friendly and helpful, so were the people serving at the restaurant. Unfortunately the food is really not very good. Definitely lacks flavor. The simple pasta dish was barely edible but my one son did like the ribs he ordered. Breakfast was just okay but not terribly expensive.

The Hotel is at a great location, but thats all you get for the money spent here. No Diamond Perks for guests other than water upon check-in. The Hotel was noisy due to all the kids in the atrium & the balconies were rotting away.

The hotel was in a good location. Room was okay but could have been a little cleaner. Nice bed and quiet. Nice restaurant. Biggest problem was extremely rude man that checked us in. A manager did try to make it right and was apologetic but it tarnished our overall impression and stay.

Excellent service and great customer services and good facilities for families and great environment for holidays
