This hotel was not highly recommended and after my stay we understand why. Old and dirty. Would not stay again. The carpet was filthy.The bedss were hard. We had several in our party and 2 couples requested to move rooms it was so bad. One couple went to bed with their socks on just because they didn't want their feet touching the floor in the middle of the night.

Even though there was a large bicycle event in town that weekend, I was able to get a reservation and a first floor room with basic amenities. The room seemed clean and adequate in every respect. The breakfast was good with a self-cook Belgian waffle making machine and a variety of other foods like cereals, fruit, pastries. The cable TV and wi-fi were good. I’d stay there again.

Wow has this place gone downhill. Duct tape holding the bathtub drains on. Little to no hot water. Beds that feel like bed springs vice mattresses. I’ve stayed here numerous times in the past. Was it ever “fancy” no, but was it adequate yes. Now….good Lord. Woke up this morning to 3 Sheriff vehicles tearing apart a car in the back parking lot.

We have stayed at the 3 main motels in Leadville. This was the last of the 3 and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The positives: Breakfast was a great surprise. It was on with the Hampton Inn’s- if they had biscuits and some gravy- identical to Hampton’s breakfast. Best complementary breakfast in town. Room was non smoking queen- and it was clean. Water pressure for the shower was excellent- which is not typical in motels. Price compared to the other 2 larger motels in town was the lower of the 3. But you got more for the $. Check In was fine- service friendly. There was only 1 item that could use some attention- the exhaust fan in the bathroom was pretty noisy- but again, that’s not uncommon. The only item that kept me from going 5 stars is that tge bed was a bit hard for our liking- but that’s a personal preference. I will stay here again in the future.

I didn't even get to stay. I got kicked out before I even got a room. The man at the front desk was very rude and told me he didn't need my attitude when I called him on it, refunded my money and kicked me out. They know there aren't many places to stay in Leadville, so he didn't give two hoots how he treated me. Oh, by the way, I'm going to be on Medicare in a year, so he didn't care about that either.

We made a reservation, arrived at the hotel to check in And were told that all rooms were sold out rudely by staff. We were forced to stay at another place for the next few days of our vacation. A few days later I noticed they charged my card full price for the stay that we never even able to check in for. I called to get a refund and a lady claiming to be the owner Was extremely condescending and after a few word exchanges said there is no refund and hung up ! Now I know where their staff gets off being rude to their customers it’s because they are allowed to be rude! Do not stay here it’s worth paying more to reside somewhere else in Leadville !
