Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise

Our family spent 6 days and 5 nights at Quellenhof Lazise over Christmas, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the unforgettable experience at this five-star resort. House & Room: We stayed in a pristine 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with a private pool, hot tub, sauna, and nearby courts for tennis, racquetball, and pickleball. We loved the thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of champagne, fresh fruit, and daily replenished coffee, tea, and water—so convenient for our family of four. The home’s privacy and alarm system offered peace of mind, and swimming in our private pool under the winter sun (2–8°C) was simply magical. The extra surprise of a Michelin-starred Panettone on Christmas Eve was icing on the cake! Transport & Location: We rented an electric car in Verona, and the resort provided a daily charging option—super handy for our excursions to Verona (only 30 minutes away) and the gorgeous ski resort of Brentenico. We also loved the shuttle service to the local village of Lazise, with its charming Christmas markets and shops. Activities: One highlight was the resort’s e-bike tour led by Thomas, where we explored wine, olive, and apple valleys, stopping at local villages for coffee and shopping. Another favorite was the resort’s daily gym classes—I even learned some Latin dance steps! The spa’s guided sauna sessions and peaceful steam room were perfect for relaxing, and the adult-only area let us parents enjoy thermal pools while our teens had their own fun. Service & Amenities: The staff at Quellenhof were wonderful—from the resort manager spending time with us on Christmas Eve, to Santa Claus’s special visit, to the friendly concierge, drivers, and cleaners. We also enjoyed top-notch massages at the spa and the convenient hair/nail salon for holiday pampering. Every part of the stay felt thoughtfully designed and customer-focused. Restaurant Experience: Food lovers, you’re in for a treat. Alessandro (Manager/Sommelier) and his team patiently guided us through incredible menus, satisfying even the pickiest eaters. The variety of daily dishes—including vegetarian, gluten-free, and kid-friendly options—was fantastic. Every plate was a work of art, and the extensive wine list was expertly curated (my partner is a self-professed wine snob!). Getting to know staff like Carmen, Danilo, and Thomas made our meals memorable. Our only regret is not ending our Italian trip here—the 5-star hotel we stayed at afterward in Venice just didn’t compare. We can’t wait to explore more properties from the same group. If you’re looking for an extraordinary experience, Quellenhof Lazise is it. Grazie for making our Christmas truly unforgettable!

Outstanding experience 👏. Starting from the staff at the reception, going to the restaurant and ending with room services, you cannot ask for more. We were more than delighted by our 5 nights stay in april. Children enjoyed garda lake and the different pools that the hotel offered to them. The food was exquisite. The room very well decorated and more than spacious, we have opted for the family suite giving directly on the hotel "lake".I highly recommend this hotel.

This is our third time at quellenhof lazise and our first time in Bella Bianca a largo suite. The deck gives swimming lake access and a jacuzzi pool so together with the rooms own sauna it’s like our own private spa with cold plunge facilities! As always the food wine service and spa treatments are top quality and the lovely welcome we get from many staff who remember us from last years makes it feel like coming home. I honestly cannot think of a single thing they could improve on .. perfecto.

This hotel provides a lovely base in Garda. The best things about it are its cleanliness, its super fabulous sauna area and pools and its wonderful buffets at breakfast and dinner. The staff at reception and at the bar are amazingly professional and super courteous. They are wonderful. The host and manager of the hotel makes a special effort to come and say hello in the dining room which is most courteous and appreciated. Although our waiter forgot all our orders on the final night, it wasn’t representative of most of the staff in the restaurant area. I wasn’t overkeen on the beds - they were really not that comfortable for a hotel of this price bracket. Quite cheap mattresses that sunk in the middle. Although the rooms are functional I feel like more money could have been spent on them. They should be perhaps more luxurious with regard to the room rate. Some of the fittings are rather flimsy and i hope that they can stand the test of time with a high hotel footfall. Overall this hotel does the job and ticks the boxes of a good spa hotel however for the price charged (or maybe it was a Christmas price hike, and it isn’t normally this expensive) I would have expected a more luxurious standard of decor.

Top Hotel for families, friends and all generations. Great facilities in and around the hotel. The Spa is top, both for families as well as for Adults only. Great Golf courses in the surroundings. Rooms are spacious and have modern equipment. I would recommend the Gardina Suite with the view on the beautiful Garden with the natural lake for swimming. The quality of the food and selection of wine are equally on a top level. We will come back and continue to recommend the Hotel.

We stayed at the Quellenhof Lazise for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is fabulous, the staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. All the facilities are in top class condition, we particularly enjoyed the spa area. The location is perfect, they have a shuttle service to Lazise which we used a couple of times to enable us to walk alongside lake Garda to Cisano. All in all, we had a lovely time and would absolutely recommend the Quellenhof Lazise.
