KIN Studios Holbox

I literally saw the manager twice during my entire stay he wasn’t even there while my checkout, even though we where the only couple in the hotel for a week, they didn't tell us anything about the agreements they had with the beach clubs, although it’s written down in the entrance that the rooms were cleaned every day if you catch the manager by any chance he will do it every 3 days, which makes the room a swamp all the time since you basically have to swim to the hotel entrance from anywhere because everything around it is under construction and the mud, puddles, and swamp don't let you enter the hotel without getting filled with it. So your room will smell like a swamp the whole time. It is two blocks from the beach, but to get there you have to cross two “cenotes” basically, where the water reaches up to your knees, customer service is zero, non-existent and if you are going to work remotely from there, good luck because it is impossible since it seems to be the only hotel where the internet lasts 6 days without connecting, and the excuse is that it is because it is on an island, while all the other places do have internet. All taxis to any place from there are 200mx approximately 15usd, and you take at least two a day because it is impossible to get there without being filled with construction, swamp, so if you are looking for economy this is not the place because, given what the hotel costs, you will have to invest 30usd a day minimum in a taxi to get out of the hotel. The photos on the internet are very misleading. Don't expect a hotel like the one in the photos, as it is basically white stucco and cement.

Awesome getaway spot in Holbox, away from the crowds and surrounded by nature. The hotel is between Punta Cocos (feels like a private beach, so quiet and gorgeous!) and Punta Holbox which runs right to the downtown area. So you're surrounded by nature and beautiful beaches and can walk out to see the bioluminescence at night (no tour needed!). There's lots of beach bars and restaurants nearby, and its less than 10 mins bike or 20 mins walk to the central area where all the action is. Hotel was awesome, super clean and check in was easy. Our room was great, super light, awesome hot shower after long day at exploring beaches, we had a nice breeze through the windows and used AC at night.

Nos hospedamos en Kin Studios Holbox el 16 Marzo 2023 por 1 noche, al realizar la reservacion solicite algunas peticiones y fueron cumplidas, nos contactaron via msj a través de la reserva para dar la Bienvenida y proporcionar alguna informacion como la ubicación del hotel, Costo de traslados en taxi, horario de Check in y out. Me parecio qué marco diferencia y te hacen sentir Bienvenido El día de nuestra llegada la Sra Delia super amable y servicial, nos acompaño para la entregar habitación y nos ayudaron a subir maletas, te propociona su num whatsapp para cualquier cosa que necesites y te indica la información para el wifi y horarios de atencion de recepción, a nuestra salida nos ayudo a pedir un Taxi, Me gusto mucho el Hotel es sencillo basico, limpio, habitación amplia, cuenta con Cama king, Ventilador de techo, Aire Acondicionado, Refrigerador, Microondas, una Barra con 2 bancos, algunos utensilios, vajilla para 2, una tetera electrica, la habitación con mucha luz y ventilación, la puerta es un ventanal con mosquitero, tiene suficiente espacio para tu equipaje, algunos ganchos, toalla y blancos limpios, sin manchas, textura suave y con buen olor, baño y regadera limpio con buen flujo de agua, caliente y fría, lo que más me encanto es que es muy tranquilo y esta alejado de turismo, sin duda me recordó mi visita a Holbox de hace 9 años, calles solas, cero turismo, esta super cercas de Punta Coco, camiando 6 o 8 min, esta muy cercas de lindos Hoteles $$$$ para disfrutar de algún Resto, Bar o Club de Playa esta una tienda y un resto a 2 calles y media, por el momento por la zona están muchas calles alrededor con obras en Construcción de Hoteles, No había mosquitos, no se a partir de cuando es la temporada, pero es perfecto para dormir 1 o 2 noches, Nosotros no la pasamos todo el dia en la Playa ya regresamos despues del atardecer y nos parecio a gusto y comodo, cuenta con garrafon de agua a un costado de la recepción para uso del huésped, para rellenar tu botella o vaso, tiene bicicletas, de ida para llegar al Hotel, el taxi de la zona hotelera nos cobro $ 200 pesos y de regreso al ferry $ 150 pesos
