Checked in last minute after leaving a sub standard hotel in Altoona mid stay. What a wonderful, clean property and experience. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Pool was a pleasant surprise. Had a minor issue at check in which was addressed immediately by the head housekeeper. Breakfast was really amazing. Second from I80. I WILL Be back.

We have stayed at this HIE numerous times when visiting family in the Clearfield area. The reason we keep returning is because we know we will have a clean room, the staff will be friendly and pleasant and the breakfast area is welcoming with a good variety to pick from. Also Peggy who takes care of the area keeps the breakfast items well stocked and gives the guests a pleasant "good morning"

My experience would've been above average except for the location, which was far from my intended travel plans. Other than that, the experience was overall good. The room was nice, the hotel breakfast was decent, and the lady at the reception was helpful. Besides the location, another negative was the price, I think it was overrated. Still, I will surely keep the Holiday Inn Express among my favorite choices as I always had great experiences with the chain.

We stayed here one night as a stopover en route to NYC. I booked based off all the great reviews on TripAdvisor. For the most part, the reviews were spot on. Well lit parking lot...clean room (somewhat rare these days!) Decent continental breakfast with a lot of choices. A good value for the money. Pro Tip: do not stay in room 201. Right beneath is the "electrical room" - there were loud whirring sounds kicking on and off all night. We slept terribly. ***That being said***Manager was kind and apologetic and went out of her way to make it right.

Wow, what a super clean place to stay. Best Holiday Inn Express that we've stayed in for years. All the staff were professional, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Definitely on our "stay again in the future" list.

Heading to Florida and wanting to break up the drive from Ontario, we booked an overnight in the Clearfield Holiday Inn Express off the web. What a great choice. We got there around 2:30pm, check in was quick, friendly welcome from staff. The facility was super clean, the room spacious and clean with all the amenities working. Staff made great suggestions as to where to dine, the complimentary breakfast on site was great with lots of choices. We’ve booked to stop there again on the way back - the staff were really accommodating !

This hotel was absolutely impressive. It was absolutely IMMACULATE. The rooms are large and comfortable. The hallways & lobby are immaculate and beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of food. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars!!

This is probably the nicest Holiday Inn Express I've stayed at. First off, it's pet free. I love animals but I am highly allergic to them. The room was very nice and clean. Now the highlight: The Breakfast was incredible. They had Danish, 3 different dry cereals, Oatmeal, Pancakes, Waffles, Pork Sausage, Turkey Sausage, Skillet eggs with potatoes, onions, etc. scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs and an assortment of breads and Bagels. Most everything was wrapped separately. Everything was fresh and hot. I'm not easily impressed but both my wife and I were blown away. Make sure you tip the staff in the Breakfast Room.
