One of the most wonderful things about this little family-owned and operated hotel is Marissa. And Elena! They are SO friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is also brilliant. A 20 minute walk to the main beach and promenade with lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars plus shops along the way. The old city with lots of cultural options is about 40 minutes walk, gentle pace but it is all on the flat and an interesting and pleasant walk. We got a taxi back to the hotel on one day. Plus, the Marina is just a 5 minute walk away. We loved looking at all the boats and enjoyed the many restaurants and cafes there. The rooms are a good size and well appointed. Great, comfy beds and good showers. We were able to access Netflix and Amazon Prime for choices on the tv. Lovely little balcony. We opted for the breakfast each day for stay and it was just right as a light option with very good coffee, fruit, yogurts and toast/pastries. But, most definitely, Marissa’s kind, fun and professional service was just wonderful 🥰

I have visited this hotel many times over the last 27 years and whilst it has always been a bit dates ,the atmosphere and location more than offset this however this year things have gone downhill. Firstly the pool ,which has been modified in a most amatuer fashion to meet disabled access requirements and didn't open until 11am. The bar prices have increased to the piint that we only used the Tren bar during happy hour when drinks due to 2 for one were compatible to surrounding bars. The staff were as usual pleasnt but I guess victims of a situation they played no part in.I never thought I would find myself saying this but we are seriously considering Turkey next year where we can go 4 star AI for what we paid this year for B&B. Such a shame to see this hotel being run into the ground.

Our welcome on arrival was warm and friendly and information and map was given to us to help explore the area. The hotel is in a quiet residential area - 15 minutes walk from Las Canteras and 40 mins to the historical centre. Taxis are plenty and it's only a few euros if you do not feel like walking. Marisa provides a great coffee machine in the lounge area if you need a coffee. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower and a lovely balcony to sit out on. There is a smart TV in the room and you can watch your own Netflix if you feel like a movie night. Las Palmas is a great city - a fabulous beach, shopping, cafes and restaurants. We had a great time and coming back to La Palmera felt like a home from home. We would highly recommend. Thank you to Marisa for her lovely hospitality.

Accueil de la responsable Elena très agréable, l’établissement est très propre, à priori une dizaine de chambres. Hôtel confortable, bien insonorisé et très calme. Le point noir est le stationnement de la voiture, payant aux alentours sauf quelques places dans la rue de l’hôtel.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti durante le festività natalizie e ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'hotel è una residenza signorile ristrutturata di recente, con gusto, ed il personale è simpatico e molto attento. Ci è stata offerta una piccola colazione anche se non era compresa nel prezzo della stanza. Ottima anche la posizione, in una zona residenziale silenziosa del quartiere di Santa Catalina, non lontana da playa des las Canteras, raggiungibile a piedi in 20-30 minuti. Nei pressi parcheggio a pagamento e con un pò di fortuna anche gratuito.

No se puede decir nada mas que...Espectacular! Ya no existen alojamientos asi, donde te atienden desde el cariño y cuidado, y Marisa es unica dando el mejor trato. El hotel invita a la tranquilidad y el descanso, decorado al detalle, precioso y con un buen desayuno. Ha sido una estancia muy agradable y volveremos de nuevo!

Estancia de 10, no podíamos haber estado más a gusto. Habitación con todas las comodidades y muy acogedora. La situación en una zona residencial muy bonita. La dueña Marisa no puede ser más encantadora y servicial, te sientes como en casa. Un hotel con encanto que se diferencia por su calidad y trato, tema con la mayor calificación posible que pueda darse. En resumen, recomendable al 100 %.

Ho prenotato 3 notti in questa struttura e l’ospitalità di Marisa, la proprietaria, resterà per sempre nei miei ricordi. Accoglienza eccellente, struttura pulita, comoda, con ogni comfort. È in un contesto silenzioso, che permette di riposare bene. L’arredamento è raffinato. La mia stanza con balcone, perfetta! Si trova in un quartiere molto bello, il “barrio jardines”, con casette basse e le bouganville in fiore. Il mare a due passi così come le fermate dei bus che ti portano a Las Canteras, piuttosto che a la Vagueta. Io ho camminato tanto per godermi la città. Se un giorno tornerò a Las Palmas, tornerò da Marisa! Suggeritissimo!
