The hotel itself is great, and our family room was spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent, with a well-balanced buffet breakfast and quick poolside service via a convenient QR code system. However, the check-in process was a bit drawn-out. After I thought I had completed everything, I was called by phone back to pay a deposit. They mentioned they would contact me when the room was ready, but I never received a call. I ended up going back later on my own, and while the staff did apologize, it was still an inconvenience. My only other gripe is the lack of valet parking, which I would expect at a hotel of this standard. Instead, guests have to walk roughly 250 meters each way to the car park, which can be uncomfortable in the heat. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups

Very good service and it is worth the stay. They even give my wife a birthday cake since we celebrated it during our stay to this gorgeous hotel

As always, a great hotel from Shangrila. The territory is magnificent, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is simply excellent, there are enough restaurants on the territory, it is not far to the center. Of the minuses: the sea in the afternoon goes down a lot, the rooms, although good, need renovation, the air conditioner does not dry the air well, because of which the room is damp and clothes do not dry well.

Tried a few hotels in Mactan, Shangri-la is the best. Many activities for kids and teenagers. Perfect location. Spacious and big site.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway! Shangri-la was the perfect option for a weekend of sun, beach, and nice memories with my family - my kid just loved the pool area! Very comfortable room, an excellent breakfast with lots of options at Tides restaurant - try to avoid having breakfast around 08:45 - 09:15 am, we had to wait for 15-20 minutes to be seated. The Italian restaurant Acqua is a great option - the tagliatelle alle vongole was superb! We hope to come back soon!

We booked two rooms and we were only able to get one room when we checked in and the other room an hour and a half after! We followed up multiple times and complained about how the room wasn’t ready when it’s already the check-in time. They told us that the staff was already on the way up to bring the key card for the other room yet it took a long time (given the fact that the rooms were just at the second floor, above the lobby) when we followed up for the third time, we were told that the card was being brought from the main wing that’s why it’s taking so long like? we literally got the key card from our first room on the front desk lobby below our floor (ocean wing). They are also very strict about the room capacity that you have to pay 3k plus to pay for an extra person unlike other four-five star hotels. The room was also dusty, my boyfriend kept sneezing non-stop when we went in the room and had to take anti-histamine. Facilities were great though.

Excellent service. Lots of things to do for kids of all ages from age 2 to 9. Beautiful beach and clear waters for snorkelling. Very attentive staff.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. We took our 7 month old with us. My wife wanted to be proactive to see if they had a cot and bottle sterilizer on premise. However the reservation agents we were speaking with online would not confirm one for us. All they kept saying was that it’s based on availability upon arrival. Well after several back and forth emails, they finally agreed to let us reserve one. To me that defeats the purpose of reserving one. They made a simple request(yes or no) a very long drawn out process. Anyways, I messaged the manger on duty when we finally checked in and she was way more accommodating and even gave us a little toy for our daughter. Point is, we went for a family vacation, and a simple request turned into a slight aggregation for us.  The property in of itself was nice. Their breakfast buffet was from 6am to 10am. It was well with food. I liked the variety. For their gym, I wish they had better signage on where it’s at. The restaurants were easy to find and they were pretty good. Cowrie Cove is a bit overpriced for me. The other Resturant’s, Buko Bar and Tides have buffet options that’s way more reasonable than cowrie grill. If we go back, we will eat at those places instead. Overall place is 8/10 for me. Good service, they speak English, and it’s clean. Everything is there too and it’s a short trip to the airport. Pro tip, take grab from the airport versus using their shuttle service. Their shuttle service is 4x-5x the price of grab.

Superb service from Claire! Our stay was smooth from check in till check out. There were plenty of activities for both children and adults. Buffet spread and food options were aplenty and service staff were all very helpful. We will definitely be back!

The hotels facilities are amazing, many things to do, kayaking , diving, water sport, feeding the fish. The food is extremely good. Yet the hotel itself is old and new renovation

All the experience in this hotel was perfect! my daughter really enjoyed all the facilities. The food was delicious too and with many different options.

NO more FREE Shuttle Service from Airport to Resort and back  I prepaid for a Premier King OCEAN Wing Room but Receptionist Gavin forced me to take a Main Wing Room bec their hotel was full so I wonder how Trip.com was able to offer such type of room if it was not really available SCAM Room is very big and clean but Housekeeping did NOT replenish the tea and room slippers everyday I also doubt where they refill the inroom Water bottles bec it is NOT sealed. TV had cable had many local and international channels like HBO AXN which I love   I thought staying in a 5-star EXPENSIVE resort will provide me EXCELLENT service but this resort had DISAPPOINTED me big time NOT WORTH THE MONEY i paid for. The resort does NOT have lunch buffet so u have to get in-room dining or go out  This resort had the WORST BREAKFAST BUFFET service I have ever experienced. I really hate having to wake up 5-6am just to take breakfast bec it is very chaotic and disorganized you have to wait 1-2 hours standing for a seat inside. The variety is good BUT everyday the coffee machine is NOT working and service is so slow and double standard meaning if you are a foreigner they will smile and bring u ur ordered food but if u are local they DELIBERATELY FORGET your order I stayed 5 days I ordered omelette to this RUDE *** server JOHN MARK at the egg station and everyday I NEVER GOT THE OMELETTE. I had more walk less eating. The sausage and corned beef even soup station was VERY SALTY They also HIDE some of the fruits like Mango and Papaya Guests PAID for those but why hide it The servers can see how displeased and annoyed I already was but instead of trying to appease me THEY ALL DELIBERATELY IGNORED ME and gossiped about me and deliberately made ALL my in-room dining orders VERY SALTY  DO NOT order in-room dining bec not only is it expensive it is very salty The hainanese chicken rice looked so pretty on the menu but what arrived to me was OVERCOOKED DRY Chicken and very salty rice and soup  DO NOT eat in Tea of Spring their LOUSY chinese restaurant. The food is very expensive and VERY SALTY its cooked by a UNprofessional Filipino cook hence the taste is disgusting the KungPao Chicken was so dark and so salty sour WHAT A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY The BEACH was also a big disappointment I used to love staying here bec of the clean beach but every morning  I go to the balcony to smell the sea breeze but now it is DISGUSTING and smells bad there is a strong diesel scent and fried fish from the air I couldnt smell the sea anymore when I went for a swim I also noticed the water is not clear anymore IT IS DIRTY and SMELLY -Diesel scent

Perfect location, service amazing and many and good options for food inside the resort! We will be back.
