I have stayed there a number of times before, however this last visit from 25-28 July 2022 was unpleasant. I paid the 50% deposit on 21 March 2022 and Dominic Cooks, although the booking had been confirmed, knowingly took the full payment from a friend, without informing him that the deposit had already been paid. After several inquiries and refusal to refund the unlawful charge, the situation was only resolved on 8 September. Totally unacceptable. They also misadvertise the view of the lagoon, which can only be seen from the balcony of the "honeymoon suite", which by the way, does not even have a bathroom! Most overated gueshouse in Langebaan. I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend this place to anybody. Stay away! Dr JB
